Cautious, Resourceful, Calculating. Originally a lowborn, Annabeth came into possession of the Barony of Risevar after her late husband passed away with no heir to take on the mantle. Many suitors sought her hand in order to secure the valuable barony for themselves and their heirs, but Annabeth rejected them all over the past few years.
Her tryst with King Eadvard III during the summer fete last year was far from subtle, and she has sworn in the light of the Abbey of Painted Glass that the child borne from this brief union is his. If Mair is declared the true heir of the Kingdom of Banteave, Annabeth's influence will increase dramatically over the next fifteen years during the subsequent regency. She simply needs to secure enough support and convince the Dillestones that Mair should be legitimized, and quickly... otherwise the other Houses may sense opportunity.
