The Realm's Strongest
Kron watches from the lofty heights of the Crucible as the pit fighters begin the daily ritual of combat. Cries of pain and shouts of triumph erupt from the main arena as mortals are tested again and again to prove who holds the favor of the god of war. Kron grins with anticipation, but not about the slave fighters that usually grace the glorious field of the arena.
With Aichmos' death, Kron was free to do as he pleases with his coliseum of blood. Watching and training slave fighters had become a bore to Kron. A noble task for the Slaughterpriest, but a bore nonetheless. What he truly longed for was to test the mettle of those within the Interstice from any faction or allegiance. Only then would he be able to identify those who are truly strong and worthy of being claimed for Khorne's throne.
Of course, to invite such combatants would be no simple task, as the reputation of Khorne's faithful would likely dissuade many who would take up the task. Nevertheless, Kron had faith that the rewards he could offer would draw enough worthy contestants to the crater of champions. He peered into the treasury vault that he had amassed over the years of pillaging and reaving; riches, treasures, relics and artefacts beyond count. None of that mattered to him compared to the goal of finding the strongest within the realm.
And so he sent forth the invite to the farthest reaches of the Interstice, calling forth warriors, heroes, and champions; any willing to seek personal glory and the rewards of being the strongest.
