A Daemon's Scorn

The great daemon who first emerged from the Carcosan Gateway was a servant of Khorne. Known as Argorah the Scornful, his massive wings cast a shadow over the lands as he grinned at the prospect of toppling new civilizations, razing grand cities and claiming worthy skulls. His wrath and rage rippled around him as he began tearing reality apart to summon forth lesser daemons into the Interstice to add to his new army.
While he suffered a temporary defeat at the hands of the stormcast, he was resummoned to serve under Aichmos, bound to the Khornate lord through a phlactery containing the daemon's soul. Upon Aichmos' defeat, the phylactery is now lost and Argorah free to roam as he pleases.
His burning gaze turns towards the burgeoning city along the cliffs of the Brilliant Scar, Kamodo. An industrious city with grand walls of strong ironstone quarried from the mineral rich cliffs it rests upon. Great towers and artillery pieces defend the settlement and the citizens feel at ease that they've found respite in an inhospitable realm.
Their sense of security only raises the ire of the great daemon; an open challenge that he will gleefully accept.
But his scornful gaze has not gone unnoticed, for the order of Holy Harmonia have watched his movements closely and are moving to intercept his calamitous charge. Gathering allies with them, they will stand with the forces of Kamodo to bear the brunt of the greater daemon's wrath.

The Brilliant Scar glistens in the daylight, shimmering as an ephemeral band that streaks across the lands. It was created when the Diamond Apex was shattered and tore through the plains.
In the wake of the shattering, the Brilliant Scar was deposited with an untold amount of precious minerals, resources, and magical elements. As quickly as the dust cleared, settlers moved into the region to capitalize on the rich gorge and to take the resources for themselves. With ample supplies, they fortified the area turning it into a stronghold for the forces of Order but also a buzzing industrial centre with trade ties with dozens of other cities. Kamodo has become city famous for their crafts, especially in the forging of powerful weapons and artefacts.
