Mali'voe Ganondorf Dragmyr (a.k.a. The Dark King)
I have seen more failure in one moment than your success here will ever wash away.
An ancient
Gerudo Mali'voe during the time of
Hyrule's unification.
Known as the Dark King, Ganondorf was one of the last male born of the Gerudo, and is said to have brought age of darkness to the Gerudo. In fact, after his imprisonment and execution, the Gerudo retreated deep into the
Desert and weren't seen again for over ten generations.
Early Years
Little is known about Ganondorfs birth, but like all prior Mali'voe, he was raised by two of the
Rov'aim of his time,
Vaba Kotake and
Vaba Koume. Unbeknownst to the people, these two sisters had seen visions of their next king ruling over the world and it's many people, giving the Gerudo people total strength. They would later make a dark pact with a dark entity who would gift the young ruler immense strength, charisma, and a bond to the magic of the entity.
Eventually Dargmyr was given full rights as Mali'voe, unifying the Gerudo under a single banner and practically striking the clan system from the law. Though many sought to prosper under his reign, terrorizing the nearby countrysides of both Hyrule and
Holodrum, he would curb their raids in an attempt to ally himself with the Hylian king.
