Little Rock River - 177.144-178.146
Little Rock River, named after the village of Little Rock, is a small river off of the western coast of The Kingdom of Krakonia that connects Little Rock to Crooked Branch Village. More importantly, it is a strategic location to limit the speed in which an army can march on Krakonian soil, a useful natural defense that was taken advantage of during The Unification Wars. Nowadays it's mostly a burden to travelers, since there is a toll for anyone crossing the river by land or by sea. The toll is 1gp per person, or 10gp per vehicle, whichever is cheaper. There are many who will bypass the toll by simply not crossing the river in Little Rock itself, although there are no other official bridges along the river due to the need for ships to travel through, which means travelers will need to either swim, take a small boat across (Many fishermen will use their fishing boats for this reason), or take the long way around through Crooked Branch Village. The latter option is rarely chosen, since it's generally worth a traveler's time and resources to not spend several extra days (and rations) just to avoid the toll which generally amounts to less than what they would have to spend just to avoid the toll.
