Faeris
This purple-hooded Yuke is covered in tight leather armor, giving the illusion of a physical body within, complete with a light color on the smooth thigh pieces underneath a pair of tall, black boots that can be mistaken for skin in the right lighting. On her right aforementioned thigh is a Black Kraken's Arbiter's Mark, engraved prominently on the front in a style that only a Yuke could pull off, as there is no natural body part to put such a thing on. There appears to be no notable wear and tear on her person, insinuating that she is relatively young in age, not that that means much with a lifespan as long as a Yuke's.
Fearis is the current leader of Krakonia National Hospital(KNH) , a place best known for its impressive, accessible, emergency healthcare. Her expertise as a renowned battle medic during The Unification Wars easily earned her her position as the leader of the emergency-driven hospital, where her ability to quickly and accurately discern different medical emergencies would naturally be required.
Faeris is one of a few notable individuals to have appeared in Requerm during The Dawn itself, having spent many of her early years in the plane simply wandering, communing with spirits, and occasionally helping people in need. Eventually she ended up in Krakonian territory and met The Harbingers of the Rising Dawn at a time when the people of Krakonia City were struggling to avoid endless conflict in the surrounding areas. She introduced herself as a healer wishing to help, which quickly led to her leading a squadron of healers on the battlefield the moment Krakonia declared the beginnings of the Unification Wars. Throughout the war, Faeris earned quite a lot of prestige as an effective healer on the battlefield, being able to quickly assess damages and apply the appropriate level of care while preserving her most limited, effective abilities for the moments when they mattered the most. Soldiers started referring to her as the "Shadow Angel" in part due to her somewhat gothic appearance from her bonded armor, but also the idea that she lived in the soldiers' shadows, protecting them from harm as they earned the glory that could only be earned through her assistance. She accepted the title, although she never uses it herself. She has found that debating soldiers about pointless titles is time that is better spent healing them. Her reputation as the Shadow Angel did eventually earn her enough attention to accomplish her goals after the war, however. Originally she was offered the position of leader of The Physicians Guild of Krakonia(PGK) , but she turned it down because she preferred a more hands-on approach to life, instead gaining control of KNH to more directly aid those in need. Granted, leading KNH does still require a good amount of clerical work, but that's what assistants are for.
Faeris is known as a somewhat off-putting hero in the hospital, as many of the doctors and nurses working there have continued putting the Shadow Angel on a pedestal while admitting that none of them really know how to communicate with her about anything other than work. Her lack of facial cues makes it difficult to know what she is thinking, and she spends a lot of time thinking. It doesn't help that for much of the time that she is thinking, she is communing with her familiar, a black crow named Noctis, which only makes her seem even more out of place. As modern as a life as she lives, she is still a nature-dwelling spiritual shaman at heart, so she isn't much for surface-level conversations. Her otherworldly demeanor is difficult to grasp for many, to say the least. Despite this, of course, she's still a top doctor at her own hospital, being able to quickly deduce the appropriate treatments for many emergencies, a skill leftover from her days as a warhero. It is not uncommon for other doctors to consult with her when something obscure comes up with a patient, giving her another opportunity to ignore her paperwork.
