Brigadier-General

Brigadier-General is the rank of the planetary governor.  He answers to the Lord General Militant  and his goals are to oversee then structure and training protocols of the Guard while they are on his planet.  He also see to the correct distribution of the Guard contingent seconded to the planet as its defence force.

Qualifications

Have served is 3 active conflict zones as the rank of general.

Requirements

At least 100 years service in the Guard. To be receive 5 separate commendations for valour and service to the Imperium. Injured during the service to the God-Emperor

Appointment

To achieve this rank the general who is received his promoted and positioned by the Lord General Militant himself, in a large parade on Tempus 1

Duties

see to the welfare, needs and logistical requirements of all members of the guard and all people planet side serving under him.

Responsibilities

Recruit the veteran guard to act as the instructors for the planet. Deal with all duties as expected as a Planetary Governor. Oversee the training doctrine of the trainee Guard See to the distribution of the Imperial Guard seconded to the planet as its guard force

Accoutrements & Equipment

dress uniform, a lot of medals, ceremonial sword and pistol.  Ceremoinal armour. always has 5 members of his personal guard with him at all times with hellguns and two with power swords and hell pistols

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

corruption or dereliction of duty death or demotion and returned to combat duties
