Elemental Enhancement

In the moment between heart beats, she moved in slow motion as the adrenaline forced me to comprehend this moment in its entirety. Her speed, her grace, her power was overwhelming. My shot rang out, I shouldn't have been able to see my bullet move like that, it diverting around her chest as that sword point drew closer while I felt the hands of fate tighten their grip around me. The air around her shimmered as she hummed her song, the air pushing and pulling on her in every advantageous way.   Pushing her forward with the weight of an artillery shell, making her as weightless as a feather caught in a hurricane. I didn't even have time to pray to what ever gods I thought of in that space between heartbeats. The next moment I knew I was on the ground, my pistol in her hands. Her sword at my throat, my own gun pointed at the Marshall overseeing the training. "Do not underestimate me just beacuse I am half your height, Commander." She said as the dust cloud she made with that lunge hadn't even become fully airborne.   -Excerpt from the Head of Military training of the Huronian Legions when demanding a blood match with Ilgor of the Skullbrood Clan.

Effect

There are three layers to this spell depending on what and how many verses of the prayer is said with the Brownie Speech. Translated from Elder Fae, the first verse is thus: "Let her voice become my sword, for it is the only truth to be heard in the ears of mortals." This verse amplifies the effective area of damage to any weapon being used by the caster. Ilgor of the Skullbrood Clan wields a human sized calvary Saber in almost any encounter, that sword being approximately four feet long, while she chants this verse in her ancestral language that sword will cut you at eight feet.   The second verse is thus: "Let your song be my path to follow, for your voice is the one to guide my hands." The section of the prayer amplifies ones sensory perception to an immense level, should the caster not be careful with the amount of power be used, the enemy can briefly feel this same effect. Time seems to slow enabling the caster to react with an apparent prescience, movement and coordination are greatly enhanced as well.   The final verse tends to baffle those it is explained to: "Your breath is my shield, for the voice which whispers my guidance bathes me in your love.". The caster is encased in a wind ward that is incapable of being penetrated by anything without a substantial force. Ilgor and Gjorn have been witnessed sloughing off small arms fire, bolts, arrows, falling debris, sword and axe strikes, spear thrusts. What the caster should do well to avoid are things with weight, this will not protect them from an artillery bombardment, or a shot from a land crawler, of anti-aircraft weaponry, nor will it stop most rounds from rifles of sufficient caliber. Typically anything more than 30-06 is dodged rather than tanked.   While the Prayer needs to bespoke while funneling power from the Domain of Air while speaking Elder Fae the full prayer is: "Let her voice become my sword, for it is the only truth to be heard in the ears of mortals. Let your song be my path to follow, for your voice is the one to guide my hands. Your breath is my shield, for the voice which whispers my guidance bathes me in your love."

Manifestation

An instant spell casting, the moment the prayer leaves the lips of the caster, it is in full effect while the caster repeats the verses over and over. An incredibly rare spell with only a few known users, Ilgor of the Skullbrood Clan being the most high profile of the casters to use this spell. In her case, a soft humming coming from Ilgor will be heard as she seems to disappear. Do not be fooled, your mind just hasn't caught up with what it has seen, for what you see is an after image. The old scars that make up the original runes from her Ceremony of Bhal glow softly under her clothing, while the Alchemical Henna runes glow brightly every where else on her.   One should duck or dodge if they hear the whistle of a blade cleaving the air, though by the time you should hear it, it would be the last sound you'd ever hear. Should you dodge, or your mind able to keep up with the Goblin Priestess, you'd see that her clothing and hair are perfectly still as if in zero gravity. Though, the world around her is torn to pieces as the force of the wind surrounding her body forces any harm away from her.

Source

The source of this particular spell is rather multifaceted. Due to the divine power held within Ilgor and anyone else granted the Domain of Air, grants them access to this spell in it's most basic sense.

Though, in Ilgor's case she has quite a few other things that amplify her ability in this. Being a Goblin, a Child of Vilorlith as well as being Tethered to the genuine article also grants her a divine level of competence to this spell. As well as being exceptionally fluent in Elder Fae due to the goblins speaking it as their native language also gives her spell more weight. Though, this all being said Vilorlith is the one whom this spell originates, a True god of The Quartet. She was the one to create Air, sound, music, wind, and magic in the beginning.
