Warden

The warden is the rank appointed to thoose in charge of protecting and keeping order in in Suberian settlements. the rank is not appointed by any one country or city, instead, many different groups choose to appoint one for settlements they control.

Qualifications

the waden is picked by the leader of the settlement, often from among the gaurds.

Appointment

The warden to be signs a something containing the responsibilitys of the warden. the document contains the signetures of previos wardens of the settlement.

Duties

Cathing criminals, collecting taxes, and defending the settlement if nessecary.

Benefits

THe rank is useually one of the most paid in the settlement.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

If someone has evidence aginst the warden, then they can show it to the leader of the settlement. if the leader jugdes the evidance to be good enough, then they send out a notice to other wardens. the other wardens that attend and the leader vote, and if more then half say to remove him, it is done. the warden the evidance is aginst is not told of this until the half an hour before the trial, althought many hear of it earlyer.

Granted abilitys

the warden gets to command the watchmen of the settlement, can start investigations, with some evidance can have anyone arrested until a trial, and has some say in trials.
If the leader is not careful, sommtimes wardens can use this power to basicly take control of the settlement. they can do this by either finding some crime the leader has done, or planting something encrimanating in his house. then, if the leader does not do what they want, he can force them into a trial, using his say to tilt things anagnst the leader.
