Prologue

Act 0

  • 2 Mirtul 1495
    The Escape from the Polyanthus
    Life, Relocation

    Rumble and Lírchon Greenleaf escapes the slave ship Polyanthus, freeing all the slaves in the process.

  • 3 Mirtul 1495
    Raid on Wulff Manor
    Criminal Activity

    Lírchon Greenleaf with the aid of the reinforcements granted by the organisation behind Grymor, infiltrates the Manor of Lord Rendon Wulff.

    Aquiring the evidence necessary to out Wulff for illegal trade of Slaves aswell as various other criminal activities.

Act 1

  • 3 Mirtul 1495
    The Troll of the Undermountain
    Civil action

    After celebrating the successful heist on the Wulff manor, the group gathered themselves at the yawning portal, a famous tavern in town.   Their celebrations were cut short however when a troll, having climbed up from undermountain assaulted the tavern.   With the aid of the proprietor of the tavern, the troll was dispatched. In so doing the group drew the attention of Volothamp Geddarm a writer who petitioned them to trace down his good friend Floon who had gone missing.

    The Darkness at Candle Lane
    Military action

    The Search for Volothamp Geddarms friend Floon lead the group to candle lane. In this place the group discovered what remained of an Zhentarim hideout. but before they had arrived there the hideout had already been attacked, the forces of Xanathar had raided the location shortly before. Bringing with him Floon, but failing to discover his companion Renaer Neverember who survived by hiding within the storage compartment.

    Eliminating what remained of Xanathars forces, the group with the aid of Renaer interogated the surviving Kenku. Learning that the Kenku had taken Floon down to the a hideout in the sewers, mistaking him for Renaer who was their true target.

  • 5 Mirtul 1495
    The Belly of the beast
    Military action

    Learning of Floons location, the group ventures into the sewers of Waterdeep, in order to locate the Xanathar hideout that is said to exist there. The hideout was found and the enemy was slain, but just as the group was about to get Floon, they encountered the Mind Flayer Nihilor, a creature under Xanathars employ that ran the location.

    The Group not his matched barely managed to escape with their lives as the creature turned Lírchon Greenleaf against them. Forcing to fight both their friend and a orc wizard at the same time.

    Nonetheless the group was successful in their operation and Floon was soon reunited with his friends. However in return for a job well done, instead of the money they were promised they were granted the deeds to a property within the city. The old Tavern known as Trollskull Manor

The Troll and the Lion

Act 2

  • 6 Mirtul 1495
    Trollskull Manor
    Financial Event

    Having been given the deed for the property at Trollskull Alley 2 the group settled down in the run down house. Only to discover that the location was haunted. A malicious spirit resided within the old tavern, causing strife to those who lived within it.

    The Start of the Golden Lions
    Founding

    Emboldened by the new companions and their new property at Trollskull alley, Lírchon Greenleaf made a suggestion. With their new property came new oppertunity, and Lircheon pitched the idea of the group forming a mercenary company together. Using the tavern as the base for their new organisation. The decision was agreed upon by the group, and in so doing The Golden Lion Company was created.

    From this point on the group would go through the byrocracy needed to establish themselves in the city, with a small credit from both Clive Trevelyan and Renaer Neverember the group was given enough money to go through the necessary paperwork and rebuild the tavern to its former glory.

    In so doing, the ghost who had been haunting the location turned passive. Seemingly appeased by the reestablishing of the tavern, the spirit who came to be known as Lif began serving the locale.

  • 20 Mirtul 1495
    Explosion in Trollskull alley
    Disaster / Destruction

    Time passed as the group focused on the reconstruction and reestablishment of the tavern and Trollskull Manor using the locals to purchase furniture and everything else they needed. This time was calm, however this calm was distrubed one day as a great explosion rocked the neightborhood. A Fireball that partially destroyed one of the buildings within the alley.

    No survivors was visible after the explosion, the several dead, coupled with the witnesses around them lead the group to believe that the Zhentharim was once again involved. Aside from that the group also heard that there had been a survivor as well a creature not unlike a magical construct had been seen at the site, utilising a necklace of fireball.

    Unfortunately the blast was not entirely without innocent victims. A young boy, by the name of Martem Tec whos parents was MIA was taken in by Clive Trevelyan and Veil of Starlight until the parents could be found. Some time later when it was clear no one was looking for him, he was adopted by Clive Trevelyan as Martem Foster.

  • 25 Mirtul 1495
    Neverembers Request
    Financial Event

    Following the explosion, the group was once again contacted by Renaer Neverember who had some connection to the bombing that occured that day.

    Renaer revealed to the group that the bombing was done in the attempt to aquire a magical artifact that was being delivered to them by one of his fathers spies. In so doing he petitions the group to locate the stone that his father had attempted to keep hidden. Becoming the groups first ever contract.

    In addition to the information he also brought the group some information on where to start, appearently the creature that was seen escaping that day had some connection to the house of inspired hands, the inventor guild of the city.

  • 27 Mirtul 1495
    Investigation of the house of inspired hands
    Criminal Activity

    During the time the guild was focusing their efforts on the reconstruction of the Manor, they had come across a visitor to their manor. A Goblin known as Stick, who had struck a deal with Veil of Starlight who promised him payment for his services. Now with the hunt for the construct, his services was now needed.

    Stick the Sniper was used to infiltrate the locale, trying to find any evidence of the creatures existance. However the mission ended in failure when one of the acolytes who worked there managed to discover him. A man of impressive stature who with great strength forced Stick to retreat from the locale.

    It was however not a total failure as the knowledge helped the group as they approached them the day after. Explaining the situation and was introduced to one of the creatures creations. The Niblewright had escaped the locale days before. No word of it had been seen since, but the group was allowed a device that could track the creature down. In the hopes that they could return him there.

  • 30 Mirtul 1495
    Sea Maidens Faire
    Diplomatic action

    After an extended period time of searching, utilising Valor's Griffon, Tiberius to scout the city with the detection device. The group finally detected the signature of the Niblewright. However after infiltrating the locale, the group came up with nothing. It turned out that the signal was from another Niblewright, who worked for the Sea Maidens Faire, a carnival group that was docked within the city. In this investigation Stick Da Snipa was hurt, causing him to contract a dangerous illness.

    Once again failing the covert approach, the group decided to directly confront the owner of the locale, a man by the name of Zardoz Zord who ran the carnival from his pleasure vessel in the sea. They parted on bad terms however as their attempts to learn more of him was rebuffed.

Hunt for the Stone

Act 3

  • 5 Kythorn 1495
    Nimblewright Hunt
    Criminal Activity

    After more searching the true location of the Niblewright was discovered. The Villa of the noble family known as the Gralhunds. The group immediatly mobilised to the villa, in order to track down the niblewright before it slipped between their fingers once again.

    However once again the group was too late, they arrive to a morbid scene, the guards of the family murdered across the house and the thugs of the Zhentharim once again being one step ahead of them as they assault the villa.

    Dispatching the Zhents, the group manages to arrive at the chambers of the lady of the house, however they where too late as the niblewright has escaped once again. Using a teleport circle concealed within a hidden compartment in the house. The group barely manages to make their way out alive as they are assaulted by the guards of the city, once again having to use their relationship with Renaer Neverember to escape prosecution.

  • 7 Kythorn 1495
    The Broken Man
    Era beginning/end

    Some days after their trail was cut, the guild gets given a clue once more as someone had reported seeing the Niblewright they had searched for. The group made haste to the locale where the creature was sighted along with their newest member who had came in search for Valor, a young woman by the name of Anya Silverwood.

    The Niblewright was found, in a tangle of wires and other debree as it had attempted to hide. On its person was a map, that was showing the niblewright where it should deliver the artifact.

  • 8 Kythorn 1495
    Mistshore
    Civil action

    Armed with the map from the niblewright, the group traveled to Mistshore, a small dock in the slums of the city. Here they found a woman by the name of Grinda Garloth who had possessed the stone for a brief time. However fearing for her life she had used her familiar to hide it in one of the tombs in the city.

    Following the trace of the stone, the group found themselves in her familys mausaleum, where the stone had been taken by graverobbers.

  • 15 Kythorn 1495
    The Windmill Incident
    Life, Death

    Following the lead from the mausoleum, the group used their connections with the harpers to trace down the raiders who had taken the artifact. Their search led them to an old abandoned windmill at the edge of town that had recently began seeing use as a Drudanae parlour, wading through the addicts in the house they came upon the door that seperated them from their target.

    This is where it all went wrong, as the door was forced open, the inhabitants brandished their shovels, and in an effort to stop them, Osver Osvarian used excessive force, ending the lives of both men. Losing them their leads and killing what turned out to be two innocent men. This upset the party as the group buried them and the seperated to consider their next actions.

    During the seperation, a foreign power cast a spell on Lírchon Greenleaf causing his memory to be altered.

    This was discovered quickly the day after as the group met to discuss the future actions concerning Osver.

  • 16 Kythorn 1495
    Necromancers Den
    Military action

    Armed with the information from the one surviving person from the windmill, the group managed to track down the den where the artifact was taken. The Hidden lair of a necromancer who had used the grave robbers to get access to fresh bodies and cadavers that he could use for his experiments.

    Upon discovering the lair, the party set about in clearing it, killing those who had dabbled with necromancy and setting the dead to rest once more. Burning it in the process. However they were not alone in this, and soon they discovered that the men behind Xanathar had once more caught up to them, taking the artifact with them in the process.

    After a extended chase, the kenku who took the artifact was caught up to and the stone was finally in the hands of the group. The artifact they had been chasing had been the Stone of Golorr a sentient artifact that held knowledge of the city and a great fortune that had been stolen by its previous owner, Dagult Neverember. He was the only one with the knowledge able to find the vault.

Act 4

  • 17 Kythorn 1495
    The Fluph and the Fox
    Cultural event

    After having recieved the Stone of Golorr the group had finally found the information they were after, using the stone the group managed to track down the vault to the locale known as the Pink Fluph, a theatre within the sea ward. Using the noble identities of some of the group as well as Renaer Neverember the group infiltrated the theatre, posing as guests as well as actors. While Lírchon Greenleaf and Osver Osvarian posed as actors, the others were mingling with the guests, where they encountered Lady Ammalia Cassalanter and her book-keeper Quill who had come on the recommendation of Quill.

    After the show had ended, Lírchon and Osver let the rest of the group in through the stage entrance and the group went about looking for the entrance. Behind a mirror they found the entrance, but the door was sealed, and upon exiting the group once again encountered Quill. Who reintroduced himself, as Esigius a yugoloth who had been watching their progress for quite some time, having thoroughly infiltrated the group, through Osver, and planting a magical artifact within the eye of Valor Kyron of Belabranta. He was able to keep complete watch on the group.

    Using Osver he stole the stone from the group, leaving with Osver in tow.

  • 18 Kythorn 1495
    Reconnaissance
    Expedition

    With Osver Osvarian being taken away by Esigius along with the Stone of Golorr The group rapidly began devising a plan for bringing back the stone and suitably punishing Osver.

    To that end the group contacted the Blackstaff of waterdeep, a contact they had since eariler, as well as pooling together any contacts they had for the comming battle. Few dared help them, as most would have political problems should their involvement be discovered, so with the silent concent of Vajra Blackstaff, and the aid of Jarlaxle Baenre who was the person who had hid behind the identity of Zardoz Zord previously the only person they knew willing to directly help them.

    The group began looking through the location, finding guard routes and blueprints. Unfortunately somewhere within the process, the group lost contact to Veil of Starlight who was on recon duty at the time. With her identity seemingly discovered the group had to act soon.

  • 25 Kythorn 1495
    Assault on the Cassalanters
    Military action

    With time drawing short with Veils dissapearance, the group was forced into action. Moving swiftly the group disguised themselves as guards and located Veil. After her capture, she had been exposed to a dangerous compound originally created by the Harpers for undercover agents, however the recipie had been used here to block her memories forcing her into a servial role at the manor, seemingly to the great amusement of Esigius. She was quickly removed, and while the infiltration continued she was brought back to Trollskull Manor where the antidote was created and she was brought back.

    While the antidote was being made, the other group made several large discoveries, House Cassalanter turned out to be a part of a large scale cult to the archdevil of the 9th hell Asmodeus. Their family had been in large sacrificed, with their son turned devil, and several servants being devils in disguise.

  • 25 Kythorn 1495
    Dungeon of Asmodeus
    Extinction

    With the discovery of the cult to Asmodeus, the group was now determined to burn it with root and stem. Finding the dungeon of underneath their chapel, the group moved in, killing as they went and avoiding the various traps that layed in store for them.

    Along the way they discovered Osver Osvarian who had been put in a cage in the kennel, they also found his contract along the way aswell. After a short look at the contract, he was moved to the entrance where he would await their return so he could be judged later.

    Finally within the central chamber, they found Victoro Cassalanter who after a short fight was slain, and the gold from the vault was taken, alongside other infernal items being stored within the chapel.

      Upon exit, the group encountered a large gate. The gate did not open as it was but a lure to keep people away from the true gate, at the bottom of the chamber, entering it brought the group to Esigius compound within Avernus, where he was awaiting to congratulate them. As he explained it, he had been luring them there so that the group could kill his contractors, to whom he was not able to disobey. To that end he incited the wrath of the group in order for them to do his job for him.

    Epilogue
    Era beginning/end

    After having successfully escaped Avernus and the dungeon to Asmodeus. The group once more emerged at the surface where they met with the current open lord of Waterdeep Laeral Silverhand, who heartfeltly congratulated them on their achievement, aswell as suitably collecting the money that belonged to them.

    However the group was not left empty handed, as they made no attempts in taking the gold for themselves they were awarded with a large ammount of the gold, and in addition the land that was previously ceased from Lord Rendon Wulff as a result of the illegal slavery he had been conducting. This land was Lírchon Greenleafs home country, known then as Three Towns. Where the guild would rule as a collective entity.
