Osver Osvarian is a former member of the Golden Lion company, being dishonorably discharged due to crimes against the guild and against the people of waterdeep. He was secretly moved to a small monastary in the region near Berdusk. Where he was said to atone for his crimes and take on a more healthy and humble lifestyle. It has been made painfully clear to the halfling that if he was ever to return he would have to answer to his crimes to the full extend of Waterdhavian law.
This was not to last however as by the skullduggery of a noble family vying for the role they served, the family was condemned. While Alton Osvarian vowed himself to continue the craft of their family. The other brothers, jaded by the treatment they recieved decided to find a new trade. Many failed entrepreneurial attempts later, the brothers began to resort to crime to make ends meet.
History with the Lions
Osver Osvarian was present at the founding of the group and was with them when they recieved Trollskull Manor from Renaer Neverember. While he aided the group in their endeavours, his methodology was not taken kindly to by the group as it often favoured morally dubious acts. This all came to a head when during an investigation into an abandoned mill outside of Waterdeep he took the lives of two men who had made their residence in the tower. This was a pivotal point for the group, as they forced him to vow to care for the graves of the men he killed. However, not long after, the group discovered the ties the Halfling had made with an enemy organisation, and its leader, an Arcanaloth known as Esigius that had been silently manipulating the halfling into commiting dark deeds. After the threat had been stopped, Osver was rescued from the dungeons of House Cassalanter(Destroyed) and the group decided that he could not be trusted with remaining in Waterdeep, but at the same time they did not wish for his death. For if left in the hands of the law, they would most definitely take his life.The Osvarian Line
The Osvarian family line was a troubled one to say the least. The family is said to once have served in the court of a king, while not high born, the family made their claim to fame through their meticilously designed garments and clothing.
