The Golden Lion Company

The Founding

The Golden lion company is a Mercenary company created in 1492 by Lírchon Greenleaf in the city of waterdeep after the group had received a considerable estate from Volothamp Geddarm. Once they arrived in the old rundown Trollskull Manor, Lírchon Greenleaf gathered the group to discuss what would be done with their reward, and it was agreed that the mercenary group was to be formed. With the financial aid of Renaer Neverember the guild was officially established within the Waterdhavian territories. Before long it had recieved its first mission from Renaer himself, to track down the Stone of Golorr.

The Lions Den

Following the guilds efforts in thwarting House Cassalanter(Destroyed) the guild was awarded the territories of the Three Towns to use as their headquarters and as to herald as an organisation. This gave the guild political status and recognition. This was however not without sacrifice, as the residents of the territory was not willing to submit to the group. An accord was struck and The 3 Towns fiefdom was formed.

Structure

The Golden Lions is lead by a small council of the highest ranking members of the mercenary guild. Favouring merit and contribution to the mercenary guild above all else. The guild elects members of itself to act as administrative positions like Guild master, Order master, and Treasurer that are able to represent the council and its wishes. These members are re-elected after a set period of time, or if a member no longer is deemed fit for the service.
