Lost Tourists

After inviting an unknown number of tourists into the Spirit World and sending out his Camp Directors to set up satalite camps throughout The Gates, Quince and the Spiritual Travelers witnessed a massive explosion that shut down the only known way out of this realm. Tourists are trapped, traveling through Tympi's Forest, and any number of them could be lost or at risk of even greater dangers.
Current Event
Daulok 22, 308 - Several lost tourists were seen in the town of The Lost Oasis. Some of them seem to be missing memories, worshiping The Light or otherwise just existing. Frode has sent one of them back home to Taranel and seems to think that the tourists' presence in this town might be a bad omen.

Plot points/Scenes

Nurend 41, 308
Quince has explained that there are at least 6 satalite camps in The Gates and provided the location of each on Agave's map. Each camp is populated with tourists, guides, and sometimes a camp director. The first considered camp on the table belongs to Namina's brother, Nori, who is apparently disguised as a Sea Elf.
Daulok 02-03, 308 - The Bird and The Spires
While the Spiritual Travelers were beginning their recouperation after the events of Session 47: Reaching Ilven, something was happening elsewhere in Tympi's Forest. A group of lost tourists that were supposed to be at Elmgrove's Camp ended up finally making their way to their destination only to find it void of any life. Blood stained the dirt, tents were cut/tattered/crushed, a guard tower was destroyed, and the only still standing building was a wooden structure that the group's very own Pizza Rabbit, Pete Zap'man, insisted on going in. The door eventually opened to reveal a blood-drenched tourists as a horrible flying beast descended from the sky.   The flying beast had the appearance of a massive Vulture with wings that easily stretched to either end of the camp, it had dark blue-green scales that covered most of its body and only had feathers around its neck like a color, at the edges of its wings and a healthy amount of tail feathers. Its wings, along with the rest of it, would occasionally spiral out of existence before returning. Its missing pieces didn't seem to hurt it or hinder its flying ability, though. It had the strength to pierce through the roof of the structure the Lost Tourists were hiding in with its talons and peel it off the rest of the building. It also had the ability to cause its victims to begin spiraling away, one piece at a time, and cause these pieces to reappear in its mouth for transportation. The spiral-awayed pieces would cause the victim to bleed as if injured, but as they appeared in the creature's mouth they were reassembled in grotesque reimaginings of the human form.   This flying creature brought the tourists, except Scout, far away. Some of the tourists fell from its mouth while they were fighting for a way out. This proved fatal, but not because of a long fall to the ground. Instead the tourists ended up pierced by long spikes growing out of incredibly tall spires. The spikes kept them alive, in pain, and slowly losing all of their memories except the present moment of pain.
Daulok 07, 308 - Nori and The Plan
the Spiritual Travelers visited Namina's brother, Nori. Being a camp director and already on the lookout for Namina who was supposedly traveling with a bunch of surface folks, Nori was prepared.   A thick cloud of fog had covered the camp and obscured any visuals on it as the Spiritual Travelers approached. Namina tried to clear the fog, and was successful enough to warrant a series of attacks from Nori's tourists. Stones imbued with magical energy flew through the air and hit her friends. Shouts of "Let Namina Go!" and "Unhand her, villains!" and more were heard from these tourists as well.   The fog eventually dropped though, and Nori was willing to speak with Namina without his clever sea elf disguise. They had a bit of a sibling conversation about artifacts, religion and their mother, but the end result was that Nori and his tourists would travel south to be safe near Dorchar and Aotri. A network of mothlight trees and a member of Tympi's Court were set up to guide the tourists from the other camps as well, but it is unknown how successful all of that has been yet.
Daulok 07, 308 - A Home for Some of Them
The Spiritual Travelers managed to finish speaking with Aotrom and Dorcha to secure a place for all the tourist refugees that survive to live. In the process of doing so, they discovered a pit beneath The Daytime Village of Aotri. Croak, who was presumed dead, was actually alive and had been imprisoned beneath this location for thousands of years while The Oni paraded around in a copy of his body.   The surviving tourists will have a place to stay, though there are still many that are lost out in the Spirit World.

Structure

Exposition

The Spiritual Travelers were formed and sent into the Spirit World by Quince with hopes of learning more about the realm and fairly obtaining its resources for use by various organizations on the material plane.   Their original mission and goal of going into this land was, as mentioned, to learn about it. This includes plants, animals, spirits, mapping the land and discovering what new recipes could be found both in a culinary and apothecary sense. It also includes learning about the citizens of this land, their cultures and customs, and which ones will be helpful or harmful towards future tourists and organization leaders.   A Gate was made and opened leading to another Gate located within the Gate Camp. After bringing in an unknown number of tourists and the Harandil Circus, the Gate eventually exploded in a mysterious, magical way. The Spiritual Travelers were able to investigate this and conjure forth the Chittering Spirit using a Tea Party.   During the chaos of the explosion, however, all the recent tourists and the permanent workers for the Gate Camp fled into the woods. They followed guides to other camps in The Gates, though it is unknown if they made it to those safely. It is likely that they will be encountered as the Spiritual Travelers continue their various missions.
