The Illyrian Marches
Formerly known as the Illyrian Empire, the Marches encompass five populations over four systems – three planets and two moons. The vast majority of citizens in the Marches are Illyrian themselves. The Marches are governed by a council of bureaucrats, known as the Council of Organizers, but have as their military leader and figurehead Verb, Great Majestic Supreme High Guide of Illyria, who holds a courtesy rank of Admiral in the Imperial Navy and the noble title of Margrave in the Celestial Court.
Territories
The Illyrian Marches include the planets Illyria (capital), Lissus, and Harmonia. The habitable moons Mela Sensu and Mela Dicti are also part of the Marches.
Religion
The main religion in the Illyrian Marches is the worship of Yig, the Mutable God, Avatar of change. Worship of Yig, a native Illyrian religion, is fairly widespread throughout the region. However, the Marches do not have a declared state religion and most forms of worship are tolerated, if not welcomed, here.
