Sienna

Sienna is a company-owned planet that has been the property of Akadi Corporation and their founding family, the noble House of Pospero, for generations.  The planet serves as the headquarters for the intergalactic corporation and the home of its highest corporate officers.
From the planet's capital city of Port Tau, Merchant Baron Leonato Pospero oversees Akadi Corp and its subsidiaries.

Geography

Sienna is a planet of temperate rolling hills, small mountains, fields and forests. Astrographically, it lies one jump off the Appian Way in the Inner Rim; politically, Sienna is on the border between the Helios League and the Chezun Protectorate. While technically independent, it pays tribute to the Helios League, and as a result has favored trading status with other planets in the League.

Ecosystem

Sienna has a standard oxygen-nitrogen atmosphere and 0.8G gravity.  Four moons orbit the planet.  The local day is 21 Standard hours long, and Sienna's year is 210 local days long.

History

Sienna was first discovered early during the Second Breath.  As it had no native sentient species, it became a perfect planet for colonization.  It survived the Conquest Era of the Second Breath relatively unscathed, and during the Republic Era Sienna was used as a retreat for many ultrawealthy families and powerful nobles. 
During the Imperial Era of the Second Breath, Sienna was purchased by House Pospero and reformed into its present day staus as a corporate-owned world.
