The Inner Rim

The Inner Rim is in many ways an extension of the Provinces; this thin ring of space is primarily inhabited by wealthy nobles who have significant enough power to rule a system but are not influential enough to control large swaths of space. Other planets or systems are controlled by galactic corporations, so-called “company worlds”. The Inner Rim also contains home worlds of several non-human races, including Varnskyr and the Myrr.   Inner Rim space is routinely patrolled and has a medium level of law enforcement. Many planets have their own small navies or is patrolled by the navies of their noble territories or corporations. While Imperial forces can be found here, they typically are contained on military bases or space stations.
