Jonna Biqare Character in The Fruit of War | World Anvil

Jonna Biqare (JOHN-ah Bih-CAH-ray)

Uon-Bloodsinger Elder

Jonna Biqare, hailing from Iyr, was the Jal-Fiir of the Golden Itoqir of the Pact of the Blessèd during the War of the Six alongside Tothjal Terbias Cuun and Jal-Mulir Shedrogard Affenblau. He was one of the six generals of the titular war.   Biqare was also the former Hand of the Earthborn Star of Iyr and a talented Uon channeler of Elder rank; he relinquished the position of Hand in order to participate actively in the Pact. His appointment caused some controversy among the Fiir of Ustraria's Itoqir, since he did not come through the usual Bloodsinger methods, but he soon earned great respect -- helped by the fact that he was trained by the Bonefire Circle.   After the war's end he returned to his estate in Pel-dohest and his family, and no longer retains the Jal-Fiir title.   In faun naming traditions, he is introduced as Biqare-Jonna; thus, his full current title is Uon-Bloodsinger Elder Biqare-Jonna.
