Akodise
Hephase-, Kairt- (a.k.a. Ako')
Akodise was a member of the Hephase Clutch as a clutchguard prior to their controversial pregnancy with Ygyn Amnohphei; as a result they were exiled from the Hephase. She is something of a mysterious figure given her tenuous position between eisorcei and Ghûn society, where Ygyn established a home for her post-exile.

Personal history
Akodise was the sibling of the Hephase himazé, Charosset. On discovery of her pregnancy Charosset then had the difficult decision to exile her and did so reluctantly, insodoing secretly giving her the traditional lariat of office. Thereafter she was known as Kairt-Akodise in eisorcei naming tradition.
Following Akodise's exile from the Hephase, Ygyn established a home for her and their unborn child in the outskirts of Ghûn; however, her life there was not much easier. Their son was born on the 75th Day of the Season of Opening, 978AC and Ygyn visited when he could. When the War of the Six began Ygyn was convinced to join the Pact of the Blessèd and he spent all of his time in the conflict as a Cleric. When the Plague of the Bitter Hand was released he obeyed his civic duty and remained in the affected countries to assist, until his own contracting of the plague in the Season of Opening, 990AC. He did not return to Akodise and his son until he was deemed noncontagious by the Physicias Eburos.
Ygyn returned in 992AC greatly concerned by the plague's relentless spread; even Ghun was now beginning to see isolated cases. Believing the entire continent was at risk, he convinced Akodise that they should act on her himaze sibling's tales of the fate of the Tuth Clutch and the speculation of a passage belowcloud there, and decided to flee. However, as they fled Ygyn was identified by the Dawnseekers as a plague victim (though not who he was nor that he was noncontagious), separated from his family, and in the hysteria he was burnt alive by a Rel-ethera.
Akodise is reported as having fled the city with their young son, but their fate thereafter is unknown.
