Divine Goals & Aspirations

At the beginning of the Second Age, Nexra disagreed with the other Ouranics concerning who should be responsible for the creation of life on Tel. Believing herself to be the most suitble choice, she was outraged when Ikatrus and Rena were chosen to create all plant life and Ator and Maya were chosen to create all animals. In particular, Nexra despises the creation of the sentient races, since she views their intelligence and self-awareness as hubristic mockery. Since then, Nexra has sought to undo their creations through the introduction of death and disease and replace all life with her children, twisted undead abominations. To achieve this, Nexra encourages her followers to spread disease throughout the lands of Tel, as well as engaging in sacred assassinations of enemies of the faith. Nexra know that she will eventually prevail in the Fifth Age, thus she patiently bides her time while building up her cult's strength for the upcoming prophesied battle and her inevitable victory.
