Teđát
History
Teđát was a Bu'uriath town built by Jadar þát Culuuc after the Bu'uriath invasion of North Quentar and the defeat of the Empire of Ghassum. Teđát was built from materials taken from the Siege of Ludox Arcius by captured Ghasscari engineers and craftsmen. Important early buildings included the Idol of Dzurazjun and the Palace of Verguń.
The town was built a few hundred kilometres downstream from Ludox Arcius just up a tributary of the River Bosien on the Rock of Verguń.
Teđát became the capital of the Vercuva of Teđát, one of the 256 Vercuva established by Jadar þát in the Map of þát and the Jadar þát's family seat.
Teđát was partially destroyed during a forest fire in 600 AT and abandoned. The Idol, along most of the town, moved to the town of Dzurazjuń a few kilometres away on the other side of the River Bosien. The remains of Teđát became overgrown, with wooden structures mostly rotting away. However, after several hundred years the boundaries of Dzurazjuń expanded and the ruins were rediscovered and excavated.
