Artifacts

Thanatos is Silas's battle axe.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Silas is well-built and muscular.

Facial Features

Silas has two scars: one running from his right cheek across his nose to just under his left eye, and one running from his forehead through his left eyebrow to the left of hus left eye. Both of these scars were given to him by Eris.

Special abilities

  • Anarchy Inducement
  • Anger Empowerment: Silas gains power from other peoples' anger.
  • Armor Manipulation/Summoning
  • Belliscience: Silas has selective omniscence in that he has absolute and infinite knowledge of combat and war, regardless of form or method. Any war or battle, he is innately aware of.
  • Bloodlust Empowerment
  • Chaos Inducement/Manipulation
  • Combat Empowerment: Silas only gets stronger when fighting or participating in a battle, and the upper limit to this power is unknown. Every blow or injury makes him stronger, faster, and more durable.
  • Combat Perception: Silas can instantly gather information about an individual's thoughts relating to combat and how they fight. This allows him to find weaknesses, opportunities, and flaws whenever he is in combat.
  • Conflict Detection
  • Crushing
  • Death Empowerment (limited to deaths in combat)
  • Death Sense
  • Destruction: Also called cataclynesis, this gives Silas the power to destroy almost everything, whether he touches it or not. This ability does not affect the other gods or Eris, however. The sub-abilities this gives Silas include, but are not limited to:
    • Cosmic Destruction: Silas can destroy things up to and including stars, planets, galaxies, et. cetera.
    • Destructive Field Projection: Silas can send out fields of energy that destroy anything they touch.
    • Erasure
    • Pulverization: Silas can pulverize almost anything through sheer physical force.
    • Selective Destruction
    • Soul Destruction: Silas can destroy an individual's soul, fully annihilating them and excluding them from any form of afterlife.
  • Fear Inducement
  • Godly Charisma: Save for the other gods, Silas can sway almost anyone to his side or make them forgive him. They become wholeheartedly loyal to Silas, meaning he can essentially take control of whole armies.
  • Godly Combat Mastery
  • Godly Condition: As a god, Silas possesses the following natural boosts, without using any abilities:
    • Divine Form: Like all of the gods, Silas can gather all of his essence in one place, and shift into his true form. This form is unknown by anyone other than the gods, as well as immortal races such as angels and devils; upon seeing it, an individual would disintegrate into nothing but ash.
    • Godly Magic: The only one more powerful than Silas in terms of magical power and ability is Eris.
    • Godly Perception/Detection: Silas can sense both life force and magic, regardless of cloaking, illusion, or any other means that would render the user invisible or untraceable. The only individual he and the other gods cannot detect is Eris.
    • Godly Reflexes: Silas's reflexes are impossible to outpace. Only Eris is faster.
    • Godly Regeneration: Silas's natural regeneration of injuries and wounds is much faster than that of any race, allowing him to heal even near-mortal wounds within seconds.
    • Godly Senses: Silas's senses are among the best in the universe. This includes better sight, better sense of hearing, taste, smell, and touch.
    • Godly Speed: Silas's speed is impossible to match. Only Eris is faster than him.
    • Godly Stamina: Silas's stamina is nearly unlimited. Only Eris can outlast him.
    • Godly Strength: There is nearly no upper limit to the feats of strength Silas can perform. Only Eris is stronger.
    • Ichor Properties: Rather than blood, Silas posesses ichor, a golden fluid and the blood of the gods.
    • Immortality: While Silas can be wounded, he can never truly die, and will resurrect even if his body is utterly destroyed.
    • Multipresence: Silas has the ability to be in multiple places at once, doing many different tasks at the same time.
    • Omnilingualism: As a god, Silas can inherently speak and comprehend all languages, even code languages.
    • Teleportation, Type VI: Silas can teleport almost anywhere, covering lightyear distances on a cosmic scale. He can take mass up to the size of a skyscraper with him when teleporting.
  • Hatred Empowerment
  • Intimidation Mastery
  • Killing Intent
  • Killing Mastery
  • Morale Manipulation
  • Pain Manipulation
  • Rage Empowerment: Silas gains power from other peoples' rage.
  • Rage Manipulation
  • Tactical Genius
  • Violence Empowerment
  • War Empowerment
  • War Inducement (via charismatic persuasion)
  • Weapon Manipulation/Summoning

Silas was created by Eris at the beginning of the universe. Why he was created is currently unknown. Many of the gods believe that Silas sprang from Eris's darker thoughts and emotions, intentionally or not. For most of the Fantasy Nexus's genesis, Silas refused to help create the universe under any capacity. Evelyn and Erebos were the first to volunteer. After Evelyn and Erebos went to war due to different views between their children, many of the gods watched on in worry and fear for their siblings' lives, and for the lives of their offspring. However, Silas felt no worry or concern; instead, he took great enjoyment in watching the forces of light and dark attack and kill each other. After Eris stepped in, Silas returned to his passive nature, with some disappointment and annoyance.   As Erebos and Keona continued helping to create the universe, in a rare show of activity, Silas stepped in. He pitched the idea for, and assisted in the creation of hellhounds and nightmares. He also assisted (briefly) in the creation of Vultrun as well.   After all was said and done, many of the other gods wished to return to the Realm of the Gods, seeing their work completed. However, Eris refused to follow, declaring that he would remain in the mortal world to meddle around and observe as he saw fit. This, again, grabbed Silas's attention, though he did not immediately interfere. The other gods tried to convince Eris that leaving the world to grow on its own was the best choice, but he refused to heed their words. It was then that Silas spoke up. He announced his intent to fight Eris, and bid the other gods to join him, stating that it was clear that Eris had no intention of listening. As a result, the other gods had no choice but to take up arms against Eris when Silas's words proved to be the truth (though the engagement was afterward regretted by many).   The War of the Gods is often colloquially called the "Ten-Minute War", due to the speed and fury with which the other gods were beaten by Eris. Silas, for his eager and immediate treason, was the one who recieved the brunt of Eris's fury, breeding within him a deep resentment bordering on hatred. As with his intervention in the Light-Dark war, Eris was merciless and brutal in his retaliation, and it is said that after the war was over, he was nearly bent on erasing the universe, along with the other gods, deeming it a failure, thanks to both the Light-Dark war and the Ten-Minute war. However, he hesitated, as he cared for his new family, and although Silas spitefully egged him on, the other gods, with Sophia leading the peace talks, managed to talk Eris down. Emotionally spent, Eris acquiesced, and a treaty between the gods was formed, stating that, excepting any major existential threat to their creation, Eris was not to interfere. However, he could remain in the world of mortals to observe.   Once things returned to normal, Silas gained a marked distaste for his family, deeming many of them weak and worthless. As a result, they began to resent and reject him as well. Silas frequently tormented and abused the other gods, primarily Sophia. Then, one day, Eris caught him in the act. This drove Eris into such a rage that, one day, he asked the other gods if he could speak with Silas alone.   It is unknown what happened between Silas and Eris, but Silas never bullied Sophia again, and although his resentment toward Eris only grew, it was buried under an overwhelming fear that Silas has not overcome to this day. Silas regularly disguises himself and meddles around in the mortal world.

History

History

As with most of her siblings, Shannon despises Silas, and this loathing only grew when Silas's abuse of Sophia came to light. Silas thinks Shannon is worthless and unreliable in everything she does, and has no trouble telling her this to her face, which causes some of the other gods to step in and defend Shannon, knowing her self-esteem is somewhat low.

More than that, Arcturus has never forgiven Silas for abusing Sophia, and it's a topic that frequently comes up in the rare event that they talk to one another. Silas has long grown tired of Arcturus's posturing, and has challenged him to combat on more than one occasion, which Arcturus has always declined.

History

Electra and Silas were created by Eris at the beginning of reality. One might think that, due to their similar habits of smoking and drinking, Electra and Silas would get along well. But as is well-known by her siblings, Electra hates abusers and bullies, and Silas is no exception. While Electra wasn't initially aware of Silas's abuse of Sophia, she was later informed by Eris and Thetos, and wasted no time in confronting and assaulting Silas. She informed him that, should she ever find out he was abusing her siblings again, there would be nothing left for Eris to erase by the time the abuse came to light. For this reason and more, Silas despises Electra.

History

Silas values Amanda's combat intelligence, but often can be heard saying "If only her damn personality weren't in the way..."

Nicknames & Petnames
