Kalester

Kalester is a city in Eukalia county of Maritime Union. It served as the largest city and the central authority of the county. Locating by the Tunwich River on the north coast of the Ronminar Isles, it holds thousands years of history. It's being known as the land of cuisine.

Performing at Sungear was great, but performing here was chilling. I missed here sometime.

Demographics

With a total population of 515,520, as of 2009 VE census, Kalester become one of the five most populated cities of the country. It has majority Arwish at 65 percent.

In social perspective, most of them are middleclass.

Government

Kalester is governed by the Council of Kalester, with a elected mayor. They are responsible for economy strategy.

Industry & Trade

They are well-known for the country's food producer. Lot of fields at the suburb produces million tons of crops, making the majority of its agriculture share. The Tunwich Wine is one of their luxury exports.

History

Kalester, alongside its county, used to be their own Kingdom of Eukal. They were controlling abundent region where everything grews. It was later lost their kingship to nearby Kingdom of Arcwood, reducing it to the important port cities which still prominant to these days.

Overtime, the people come and go and so its name mutated from Eukala to U-kala, to Kale. Until the city reformation after the great census sometime hundred years ago that Kalester become the official name.

Tourism

There are several tourist attractions in the city. The Eukal Castle, when it housed the legendary House of Eukal, become the popular museum during high season, and the Kalester Cathedral, the city center of faith built by generations of believers, has never run out of visitors.
