Tavo "Half-Tail"

Tavo was born into a roving Puffari caravan that traveled across the Osirion Wastes, surviving through wit, trickery, and storytelling. From a young age, he showed an exceptional talent for mischief and deception, quickly earning a reputation among his people.   At age eight—considered the cusp of adulthood for the Puffari—Tavo attempted a daring heist, sneaking into the tomb of a noble in search of a valuable trinket. The plan went awry when a guard caught him mid-escape, slicing through his tail in the struggle. Rather than seeing it as a loss, Tavo embraced the injury, wrapping the stump in charms as a symbol of both misfortune and luck. The nickname "Half-Tail" stuck.   Now living in Y’Matara, Tavo has become a well-known street performer, using sleight of hand, acrobatics, and minor illusion magic to dazzle crowds—and distract marks. His acts double as a cover for his real work: gathering information, pulling cons, and outwitting his enemies. His cleverness and resourcefulness have earned him a place among the Scarlet Jackals, a notorious smuggling ring that appreciates his skills in deception and infiltration. Though still a small player in their network, he sees them as both allies and a source of opportunity.   However, his antics have drawn the ire of a powerful enemy—Templar-Captain Rashan, a relentless enforcer of Sethet-Ka’s will. Rashan sees Tavo as a dangerous nuisance, an unpredictable wildcard who disrupts order and mocks authority. The Templar has made it his personal mission to capture or break the young trickster, putting bounties on his head and setting traps throughout the city.   Tavo is now preparing for his Grand Trick, a legendary act of mischief that, if successful, will cement his name in Puffari lore. Whether it’s outmaneuvering merchants, avoiding Sethet-Ka, or slipping through the fingers of Rashan himself, he knows one thing for sure—his greatest adventure is just beginning.

Session 001 - Maid of Y'Matara
Tavo identified Khatim during an encounter at The Gilded Oasis and participated in the pursuit across the rooftops. After the confrontation with Hasina Sebekem, he looted the priest’s body, recovering gold, magical items, and a staff. In the temple, Tavo offered humility before the scorpion idol, unlocking a hidden compartment. He later warned his companions to remain cautious of hidden observers in Y'Matara.
