The Willows

The Willows is a small collection of villages to the east of the Norshire Wilds.

Industry & Trade

The Willows are a logging community and thus their main source of trade is the trees they cut from the outskirts of the Norshire Wilds. Though this is their main trade, residents of the Willows have learned to respect the Wilds and take care to preserve the integrity of the wilds and make sure that any tree logged is suitable replanted and regrown.
However due to the location of the Willows, only a few towns trade with this logging community. Riverfell, Bleakonmire and other towns in Rivervale and Bloodvale will trade with the willows, but being so close to the wilds means towns from the south and west will avoid having to source from a place so wild.
Fort Morbrook, a fort inhabited by Orcs will occasionally trade with the Willows in order to refortify their defences, but they mosty deal with the stone mined from the Nethermore Mountains.

History

The Willows does not have much history as not much has occurred there that has been worth documenting. However one legend is told about a young man who fought the tyrannical Keeper of Riverfell and won, ending the cruel rule over the people of Riverfel. Thsi legend is known as Brant of The Willows.
