Bloodvale

A vale at the eastern side of the North Belt. Once named Goldendale due to it's lush fields of wheat, during the War of Iron it was doused in blood of both Human and Fairfolk after the Orcs sided with the humans.   Since the War of Iron, the county of Bloodvale has seen little in the way of good luck. During the devastating rampage The Bastard's Plague one of Bloodvale's towns, Bleakonmire, was ravaged by the disease. The effects were so devastating that the King ordered that the town be isolated, no one to leave or enter. They were left to die with no aid from anyone. Bleakonmire turned into a living hell where no rules or laws were upheld. Theft, murder, rape and pure anarchy ruled until the very last resident died. Bleakonmire was left for years after this until the town was gifted by the reigning monarch and was ordered to be rebuilt. Bleakonmire however never truly recovered from its past.

Geography

Bloodvale is the name given to most of the north eastern areas of the Region of Norshire. The North Belt river runs through the bottom of Bloodvale, where Bleakonmire sits, build over parts of the river.   Though no where near as prosperous as they once were, the lands can still yeild a good harvest and keep the surronding cities well fed.
