Khanate of Doikorás
The Khanate of Doikorás is a political union of the Doikorán Bolyans (nobility), and is more of a tribal alliance than a true settled nation. The Doikorán Bolyans were for a very long time the least unified of all Orentesh Bolyans, having been tributaries of the March-Kingdom of Kchatéldelest and then tightly controlled by the Agrenraysereg Federation. Finally, in 1976, an opportunity arose for the Doikorán Bolyans to assert their freedom.
Succession crisis in the Federation saw the Chogkar khans overthrown and replaced with the Ghulidug family in the 1950s. However, Ghulidug rule was anything but secure, and the family fell to infighting. This led to the Chogkar attempting to retake the throne, however, they were crushed and fled west. There, the Doikorán Bolyans united and pledged to restore the Chogkar to the throne. However, such operations were put on hold for several years as the Doikorán fought amongst themselves while also being raided by Ghulidug expeditions. Such expeditions were intended to capture Arslan Khan, the main Chogkar pretender. They failed in their purpose and succeeded in uniting the Doikorán Bolyans behind the charismatic Bhatar Uoleg. Bhatar Uoleg, being from a more northwestern Bolyan, first led the tribes in an expedition in the borderlands of the Plaires Centralis. This invasion was intended to serve two purposes. First, to secure the flanks of the Doikorán so that they would not have to worry about attacks from the west while fighting in the east. Second, to leave the easternmost tribes vulnerable to raids while fighting and therefore reduce internal resistance. This is because Bhatar Uoleg coveted the position of Khan himself.
Finally, in 1976, the Doikorán Bolyans decladed independence, overthrowing the Ayseregy in positions of power throughout their lands and invading Agrenraysereg. Göcjer Khan, the current Ghulidug Khan, was embroiled in a new succession crisis against his uncle, Erkahn Ghulidug, and against the challenge of Uğhur "The Lucky", a Vintalyan Bolyan. Bhatar Uoleg's army marched in and defeated the armies of both Ghulidug in quick succession, before lining up to conquer Uğhur Bolyan. Uğhur, however, capitulated and swore fealty to Bhatar Uoleg himself. While Arslan Khan was installed as Khan of Agrenraysereg, he was also forced to swear fealty to Uoleg and had his lands greatly reduced in size. Arslan Khan was forced to accept the loss of the Vettüregan region (which became the domain of Uğhur), as well as swaths of western territory.
In a grand ceremony in the capital of Agrenraysereg, Bhatar Uoleg was crowned as Bhatar Khan of Doikorás. He also formally accepted the swords of Arslan Khan, Uğhur Bolyan, and many other Bolyans. Arslan's eldest son, Mundzag Ghulidug, would be a long-time hostage of Bhatar, during which he was molded into a weak and ineffectual ruler. After Arslan's death in 1989, Bhatar Uoleg took advantage of this weakness to increase his control over the Ayseregy. Always eager for more conquest, he then turned his sights to the Ko'ldarzern Bolyan in 1992, who stood in between him and his nominal subject of Vettüregan. Their leadership was subjugated by 1994, allowing him to more slosely control Vettüregan as well. However, he always balked at invading Kchatéldelest, wary of its powerful fortifications, preferring shorter raids. The risk of revolt by unruly subjects has always been deemed greater than the potential rewards. However, as Bhatar Khan is aging, he may try to take the opportunity for one more war, securing the unity of the Orentesh and preventing external actors from disrupting succession.
