Ixthamon delivered the magical assault which overthrew Queen Jayne II of Ralsimoor, destroyed the ancient city itself and the Institute of Magical Analytics at the same time. He created the dreadful zone known as the Melancholia which surrounds the entire region around the ruined city to this day.
