Court of the Green Knights

Originally the Blessed Monastery of Vali, it has since become the unofficial hedquarters of the Green Knights of Matermar . In many cases it acts as a club, with dining services, meeting rooms and a place for socializing. It is considered highly exclusive with only the Knights and Verdant Priests having membership. When not decided at court in the palace, here is the next most likely place for policy to have been created. Agata Pactla is found to frequent here every few weeks, and her assistants are almost always present.   The central cathedral is used for ceremonies and general meetings of the nobility of the Matron Mysterium at least when not in the palace. The catacombs beneath the cathedral are used extensively by the knights today, and a priest stays within the cathedral at all times. The south western section is used as a group armory and storehouse. The western orchard is a small gathering of plum trees. The south eastern section is used for housing horses and carts of the guests. The northern sections are the meeting rooms and kitchens. While not shown on the below map is the upper and lower stories of the northeast section, containing additional meeting rooms and the pantries of the kitchen.

Alterations

As it was originally a cathedral monastery complex, much of the religious iconography has been removed. The exception being the fantastic mosaic murals. The ascetic look of Vali being the god of self control, has been replaced with opulence. Plush and lush carpeting, vibrant tapestries, and rich wood furniture.

Architecture

Built of imported marble and basalt the black and white of the stonework is offset by colored bas relief and tile mosaics. The original tile roofs have been replaced due to extensive damage during various upheavals and the newer roof is made of copper sheeting that is appropriate for an organization known by the color green.
