Grand High Seneschal Agata Pactla

Agata Pactla is the current Grand High Seneschal of the Matron, also referred to as the Chief Verdant Priest. She acts both as a religious and civic leader. As the chief priest of the religion worshiping the ruler of the Matron Mysterium, she is also acting as the chief of staff in the court at Matermar.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Of short stature physically she is often overlooked when entering a room. Useful for hearing what others assume is unheard. Her clothes and persona are unassuming in general, and it serves to hide a strict physical conditioning and powerful forearms.

Personal history

Throughout the appointment process of a new High Seneschal, Agata was cunning and enlisted the aid of the Green Knights, who previously were generally ignored in the proceedings. The knights have become a stronger organization under her appointment, and have formed stronger bonds with the Reaver Captains. This was seen as an inappropriate move by some, as it was an expanding the role of who had influence within the governing circles.

Motivation

Agata is motivated by a sense of fear, specifically the fear of being out of control. This manifests as a desire to keep everything around her in order. This feeds into her sense of duty to provide order and a stable environment for others. Her current goals include strengthening the security and trade of the nation, as well as backing Wynn Erwood as the successor to the nation when Tanwen Erwood abdicates her semi-divine link to the lenses, like her mother did half a century ago.
One of her other passions is the prevention of abuse, as she has several close family members with significant trauma. This has gotten her into trouble several times, as her positions on certain events has been counter to  some of the prevailing views.
