Madam Juno
Madam Juno is the owner and leader of the Traveling Carnaval, a mysterious figure with an impressive appearance.
While she rarely shows face, when she does she possesses an air of respect. There are tales of border patrols and nobles alike cowering before her.
Not much is known about Madam Juno. She's been around since the beginning of the Carnaval, definitely more present at the start. The full extent of her skills is unknown, but her magical talents are widely talked about within the Carnaval. Notable feats include Twinkle's familiar, singlehandedly repelling a Behir and once even performing for the Immortal King of The Iron Banks.
Appearance
While she hides much of her appearance behind a mask and clothing, she seems to be of a darker skin tone. Her hair is built up of tight curls and an unnaturally white color. The one thing you can count on is seeing Madam Juno open each night of performing for the Carnaval. Somehow she is always wearing a new dress, as beautiful as the last. A common theme seems to be magentas and reds, with a circus theme running throughout each outfit. The constant in all her outfits is her elaborate mask. Detailed in gold, it frames her white hair and dark skin beautifully.
Relationships
History
Madam Juno and Jolly Baddock have been close companions ever since the Carnaval was founded. The origin story of how they've met differs each time Baddock is asked about it, but you can always hear the admiration he holds for her.
Nicknames & Petnames
Jolly Baddock either refers to Madam Juno by full title, or simply the Madam. Madam Juno in turn affectionately calls Jolly Baddock by his given name, Albert. She is the only one Baddock allows for to do so.
Shared Secrets
Jolly Baddock is the only one allowed into the Madam's tent, and assumed to be the only one who knows what she looks like under the mask. If asked he simply smiles and says "As terrifying as with the mask on".
