The Iron Banks
Structure
The Iron Banks is ruled by the Immortal Emperor. For as long as the nation has existed there has been the same emperor sat on the throne in Bastion. The rest of the nation is organized vaguely feudally - with the emperor appointing rulers to local areas who then report back and, most importantly, pay tax, to her.
There is a certain mystery surrounding the Emperor and her workings. Bastion, the capital of The Iron Banks, is walled off to the public. Apparently it is a city that is dedicated purely to the squabbling of nobles, scholars, and Her Majesty. They spend day in and day out drinking Gellian ale and discussing the future of the nation. There is whisperings that the capital is not the same as it once was. The glorious Bastion is falling.
Culture
Similar to the Kingdom of Greywood - The Iron Banks really values a good work ethic.
The Iron Banks are a nation with deep divides in class. Due to the luck it takes to ever move up from being a miner, only few nobles exist within the borders. These nobles have everything, and the Immortal King favors them deeply. In recent times, quiet whispers of following Geld's lead has echoed in the vast halls and caverns of the Ironil Mountains.
