Personal history

Ivan was raised in the hard working community of Cargil South, the middle child of three for a young family. It was assumed that his life would be to follow in his parents footsteps and actually work with the live cattle in the stalls and fields. However, Ivan never seemed content in his community. Despite being able to make a couple of friends and able to get through his short schooling at a regular pace, he was a malcontent child that grew up into a jealous teenager, feeling that his agricultural upbrinigng was holding him back. Thinking that money would solve his issues, he left Cargil South at age seventeen, not contacting his family until he was well into the United States on his way to Las Vegas.
Having heard the old stories of the city, Ivan had studied up on betting strategies. For a couple years Ivan worked at a popcorn stand before finally having discvered the art of card counting. In a week he had obtained enough funds for live comfortably in larger housing and with more luxurious clothes. After a month of this, Ivan found himself incredibly lonely. He decided to travel around with what he had and headed toward California. While staying in Pasedena, he ended up talking to a recent convert of Nature's Samsara. Impressed by how happy his fast friend was, he decided to follow and see what the faith was all about.
Ivan did not initially decide to live on The Elko Commune after converting to the faith, instead enjoying his winnings for a a yeat on a sustainable campground and actually telling more temporary guests about the faith, even converting a woman to the faith before she went back to her home in Chimazon. However, in 2156 Ivan made the choice to live on the commune. There he quickly found a place helping to teach and raise the young children alongside with Thomas Kelly. He's been focused on those tasks ever since, still estranged from his Cargill roots.

He worked only a couple of years in Las Vegas for a popcorn stand on the main strip, managing the stock and preorders for a mostly automated system.
Currently he works with the youth in the Elko Commune.
