Gwen is our main protagonist, a kind, confident, and stubborn young woman, determined to find the answers to her past. She can utilize Blue Energy, but is still learning how to control her power.
We initially meet her on the main Atlas base, where she has been living since she was 5 years old. She has been waiting her whole life to get out of the buildings and get to do something for once. But when she is turned down for the fourth time in a row, she decides she's had enough and goes to find the real reason.
Once she discovers the truth about her in the database, she panics, pacing backwards, ultimately stumbling over loose wires being shoved to a corner. This unlocks a dormant ability- something in her bloodstream- a blue, glowing light, an energy source.
With this information in hand, she breaks out of Atlas, and goes on a quest to learn what really happened to her.

They met when they were young, but don't remember it. They then reconnected when they were teenagers. Most people would tell you that they were destined to end up together. Yet, they have had a rocky relationship at times. Circumstances got in the way, and because of their combined power, outside influences tried to convince them that they were wrong for each other. I consider it to be a tragic love story that manages to have a happy ending.

Gwen calls him her Guardian Anger sometimes. Thomas calls her his rock.
Commonalities & Shared Interests
They both have white energy in them, and share a connection in their past. A good example of how opposites can attract. They may not share the same interests as much, but they respect each others opinion and have the same moral belief system. He is willing to listen to her rants, and she is willing to try new things that he loves.
