Structure

The republic is governed by elected officials chosen by the people in all parts of the government. These elected officials are connected to each other by a series of balances to ensure that no one part of the government has power over any other. With the main branch of the government being the Chancellorship that help lead the government in regulations and laws.

History

Rise of the Republic

Before the republic was created the nation was known as the Tenar Empire, which was one of the largest empires on the continent of Oran at the time. It was also one of the largest nations to own slaves as well. With hundreds of thousands of slaves of many different races being forced to serve the Tener as they prospered on their misery. As the empire grew, so did its number of slaves from across the empire. Slave rebellions were a common thing in the empire but all of them would be crushed. It was not until Tenar civil war that the slaves had a chance to gain their freedom. But instead of one race fighting for their freedom they banded together and their number quickly brought down the remaining imperial forces to their knees. Leaving them on their own as the empire collapsed entirely and the entire continent was torn into a massive battlefield with thousands of groups fighting for power. Once they ensured their survival after several decades of war, the republic was officially established to allow all races and cultures to be accepted. With their constitution known as the Creed ensuring that it could never be taken away. From that day forth the Republic of Creed has become a democratic state that wishes to better the lives of its citizens. The problem was that I was the only republic on the continent with over several kingdoms that surrounded it. Leaving it an isolated state cut off from the rest of the continent. War could continue into the next age as the republic grew and began building defenses to build its borders.

Fighting to Exist

The Feudal Age saw the republic on the defensive constantly as the kingdom of Aldra, the kingdom of Helum, and the kingdom of Lustan constantly tried to invade them to claim their resources and their land as their own. This would lead to the creation of the Wardens, who would hold the line against all threats that were aimed at the republic. Everytime someone push into the republic they receive a hard push back by its valiant defenders. For they were not forced to fight in these wars, but were all volunteers who choose to fight in the name of the republic and the principles that they were founded upon. The undisciplined conscripts of the kingdoms were often no match for the disciplined professional armies of the republic. This would greatly weaken the kingdoms as their lands would be taken from by the republic and

Bringer of Democracy

As the Feudal Age came to a close and the Age of Revolutions began to rise the republic’s influence began to spread across the continent and many citizens from different nations wished to become a democratic state as well as their monarchies had become corrupt and the rich flourished why the poor suffered. It was mandatory for them to aid these democratic supporters as in doing so would destroy their enemies and bring peace that had not been seen in centuries. Along with possible expansion from states who wished to join the republic. By supplying them with weapons and training them many of the groups rose to power and joined the republic. Creating peace within the region as their old neighbors that did not join them became democratic as well.

Rotting from within

During the Steam Age the republic was in a dire situation, corruption from all parts of the government ran rampant as industrialization ruled over the nation and the need to grow their economy allowed Marketers have a firm grip over the government. As pollution and unfair labor laws took over the republic was on the verge of collapse as businessmen took over. If it were not for the efforts of those who believed in the Creed the nation would have fallen a long time ago. As it took decades to undo the damage that was caused by this.

On the frontlines

The Diesel Age saw the nation on the brink of destruction as the great wars saw the republic invaded on many sides as the empires of old wage war to continue their existence. The Harmordian Empire was the most fierce enemy as the invaded the republic and tore its regions apart into battlefields. With millions being lost on both sides and unable to reach each other territories. That was until the republic found a way to invade the empire through the Silverback Mountains and invaded the empire. The republic was critical in helping end the wars and bring many of the empire under control and bringing peace to much of the world for many centuries. Though it cause the republic to emphasize more on military assets to ensure that that they would never caught of guard again.

War in the Shadows

The Shadow Wars were considered a trial for the republic as it repealed a full scale invasion force on their continent and then began an invasion of the Drascan Empire with what forces they could spare. They faced many hardships as they were forced to lose thousands of forces to gain ground against the empire and the horrors that they created for their war machine. Soon enough though they managed to keep moving on no matter how many set backs there were. The Battle of Serno and the Battle of Herngord would the most costly battles that they fought in. But they held the line and did not back down for to lose here would mean the end of their people and so they pressed on and fought on as they always did. As the wars finally end the republic would go on and rebuild what that had lost in home of a more prosperous future to come to them.

Demography and Population

The republic is made up of several different races have immigrated or were born in the republic. Many of which are citizens and are granted the rights that come with it. With it said to be over several hundred million living where they please.

Territories

The republic holds large amount of lands in the eastern lands of Kennaris. These lands either joined the republic willingly or were conquered by it to secure its independence. These territories are known as states as they are controlled through their own form of governing bodies. With there being eight in total of them in total. The states are called, Unlen, Adonis, Ferow, Lester, Zeu, Kelder, Judo, and Osben. But often have a close eye kept on them by the central government to ensure that their laws are heard and no political groups gain to much power.

Military

The republic’s military is a moderate power as it does not wish to impose military power and rather uses resources to better the nation as a whole. But it still remains a force to be reckoned with as their troops are highly trained and their technology is highly advanced by normal modern day standards. With their air fleet begin the largest on the continent to deter anyone who would dare attack them.

Technological Level

Technology is considered to be highly valuable to the republic as it helps make their lives and society much easier to manage and it is constantly updated to ensure maximum efficiency and is stated in being one of the most modernly efficient societies in the world.

Religion

All the Nine are worshipped in the republic and are allowed to worship them as they please. It is also made sure that no one god is favored by the population to avoid persecution and favoritism. Creating a fragile peace in the process as the followers of each god keep control of their masses.

Foreign Relations

Trade is the main source of the republic prosperity and good relations with many nations across the world. Though the Harmordian Empire is one nation that the republic is always at odds with since they have been at war with each other for thousands of years and their ideologies often have them clash heads with one another.

Agriculture & Industry

The republic is mostly known for it rich industry in agriculture and industry to create better resources and to ensure use them to full efficiency. With their resources being mostly in agraculture that feeds hundreds pf thousands and in electronics that help keep their soceity connected and maintain government proficiency.

Education

Education in the republic is mandatory as a good education leads to creating a productive member of society. To not have an education is to be nothing more than a menace to society. To start things off right, kids are sent to school at the age of three and they mix all cultures and races to remove any form of superiority or racism that may form later on in life. The first thing they ever learn is that of the Creed as the most important relic that the republic was founded on.

Infrastructure

The republic is well advanced with its updated its infrastructure constantly to ensure that their society properly functions and it keeps it citizens happy. Along with transportation system to allow it citizens to have full access to travel across the land.
