Who needs wheels when you have gravity on your side

History

The modern age began rise of anti gravity technology as well as wheels became obsolete. The Hover bike is the definition of that technology. Light and mobile they are consider a representation of freedom to those who own them. The bikes are often given a bad reputation though because of the drivers who often use them for crime and have been banned in several states or settlements because of it.

Civilian

Bike often are found across many cities used to get by roads are airspace just to get to place to place. Cars are pretty expensive and a bike can be cheaper option for transportation. Not to mention they are easier to maneuver around the tightest of places if you want to get some place quick. A ride in the country is not a bad idea either. The wind in your face and the free air can be relaxing to the nomadic biker. Some of them even form their own groups as kindred spirits traveling from place to place where ever they want. Their is a flaw to them though if the gravity engine is damaged of tampered with it can lead to two scenarios, it becomes supper conductor and electrocutes anything in a three feet or turns into a super magnet and pulls anything metal to it within ten feet of it. Making highly important to maintain maintenance in order to avoid such scenarios.

Military

A hover bike can mean life and death on the battlefield as they are able to reach place that most ground vehicles can't. These bikes are modified to deal with all sort jobs in the military, scouts, carriers, shock tactics, and hit and run tactics to name a few. These bikes are restricted to highly trained drivers though since they cost a lot to make these bike so they don't want someone joyriding around in it. They are not toys to play with at all and you can get killed if you can't handle them.   Some are designed for recon and retrieval operations. Often being light and easily deployable in the field. Only carrying light weaponry for more speed.   Then there are the assault bikes equipped to deal real damage on the enemy, often assaults and engagement in battle. Heavy weapons are often used to sacrifice speed.
