Composition

The Hellfire Drone often grouped into one to four drones per group and have a group of engineers and software programmers to do repairs on them.

Equipment

Carapace Steel: Without sacrificing speed, Carapace Steel was used to ensure it had adequate protection. Due to is resistance to shrapnel and low fire weapon it was the perfect choice for its line of work.
Grapple Legs: The Legs of the drone are fast, but another feature is to sink it legs into any know surface with ease to be able to reach its target without any obstacles in the way.

Weaponry

The Hellfire drone is equipped with the highly lethal 59 B Magma gun, a weapon capable of tearing through flesh and armor like it was butter. Cover will not help either as it can tear through rock and concrete as well. The drawback of the gun though it tends to overheat if it is fired too long. Along with several heat seeking missiles to deal with aircraft. If the drone is damaged and is about to be captured it will self destruct.

Vehicles

Drones are often carried by military vehicle known as a Drone Carrier that is used to store them and launch them when the need arrives.

Structure

The drones a controlled by the I.D.C, Imperial Drone Control that programs them to follow the command of the officer in charge of it as long as the officer has the clearance to control it the drone will carry out their orders.

Tactics

The Hellfire Drone uses speed and maneuverability to gain the advantage on the battlefield. Often overrunning an enemy position and then unleashing is weaponry behind enemy lines to achieve maximum damage and create confusion amongst the enemy. But when need to fight from a distance it will target military vehicle to put the enemy at an advantage. As for infantry it gets close and personal as it doesn’t mind slamming into them or bring down a building they are in. Aircraft is where it get tricky, it will try to take cover or reach a higher position to take it out. Though it is still at disadvantage as the where never meant to take of air craft to to their mobility and will just fall back if it cannot win. If it is overwhelmed or damaged it will close up and hide behind it protective shell until it sees a opening to exploit.

Drone are often put thorough testing and training drills to ensure that they will be at their highest performance level before going into battle.

Hellfire drones will often be accompanied by infantry as they advanced so they can take control of position. But it is not uncommon for armor to tag along either if the resistance is not higher than expected.

History

A New Form of Killer

Built with the laboratories of the Paronil Combine, these drones were created from an unorthodox and a new form of A.I that is able to think fast without the chance of it reaching self awareness. The first of their kind to be seen on the battlefield, these drones have been sent across the Imperial Allegiance to serve as weapons to crush all opposition that might stand against the Allegiance. Meaning that they are solely used to deal with rebellion and uprising when they occur. Which have had a ninety three percent success rating from most of them. Though they have not officially been used in any war since their creation, they have been considered a deadly foe to face. With even most modern vehicles even having trouble dealing with them through studies and virtual simulations to test for weaknesses.

Controversy

Due to the nature of the drone the global community have considered to dangerous to be used in warfare due lack of value for life and non combatants. With it being outlawed by most of the nations of the world and all currently active ones should be destroyed. As they have stated if they were go rogue they would kill everything in their way. But the Imperial Allegiance has disregarded this an attempt to weaken their military and continues to build and use them. Sanctions are being placed on them to halt the production of the m, but the allegiance being crafty have found ways to bypass them. Leading many to wonder what would happen if these emotionless killing machines sent out into the world and the aftermath they would cause should they declare war on any nation in the near future.
