While many have forgotten what the world was like before the cataclysm and its extensive knowledge, there is something that cannot be simply erased nor forgotten by time as they can easily stand up to it or defy it in any way shape, or form given to them. An Eye of Delirium is one of those powers that transcend this due to the horrific power that they hold within them, a fragment of the The Endless’ consciousness, the embodiment of madness and wickedness mixes to get her in one small amulet.

Eye of Madness

Since the imprisonment of The Endless across the vastness of the cosmos many have fallen to its influence hearing its whispers and visions of dark desires to all that can hear them. Those who fully accept its word become its followers and do what they must to serve it and carry out its will to where they can do so with the power granted to them. But this is often not enough to show devotion to their so-called god, they must be able to have its presence with them at all times to ensure that its words remain true to its followers at all times. It was because of this that a group of cultists managed to discover a fragment of The Endless and with some unknown method managed to extract its consciousness and place it into amulets to allow them to speak to it directly. This was when the Amulets of Dellerium began to spread cult after cult with its knowledge of how to create them being spread by The Endless itself to gain more power across the stars.
To those who wonder what can such a small thing do to someone, the answer is simple it causes them to be overwhelmed by the thoughts of the Endless. All amulets mainly take the form of an eye that some say can move on its own if you look long enough considering it is alive it is most likely true. Those who wear them will often hear the voice of The Endless by giving its wearer commands or showing them visions of the future or of places to go to. However, this often comes at a great cost as the longer one wears an amulet will eventually lose their mind as they are not capable of withstanding the psychological torment that comes with a close connection with a piece of the Endless. The exact amount of these amulets is unknown nor is their locations, making it very difficult to find and stop them from causing harm to those around them.

The Amulets of Delirium are considered one of the most taboo items ever to be made in the eyes of the cosmos for a piece of The Endless has been set free from its imprisonment that can cause great harm to all within its reach. While being given clarity of what its madness is trying to say it is passed onto them like a sickness that can never be removed no matter how much one can try. Even when they remove it, it causes their personality to be altered considerably, making them more aggressive and unable to think properly as their mind is not their own anymore as it has been given to a higher power. Even their emotional state becomes twisted as they have witnessed firsthand the motives of the Endless that make them lose all sense of being, which will eventually break them to madness.
