Advance Dropships
Dropships are considered the most common military transport in the modern era as they are used by many nation to transport soldiers and vehicles in military matter when needed. These craft have been used in ever known war and conflict in the last two thousand years and will continue to so long after. Ships such as these are consider more desire as the ship can unload supplies and troops when need. They are often bought in bulk as they are used for both small and large scale operations and because they are the most targeted craft since they carry so many troops and resources onboard. Shooting them down is their own reward as everything of board is destroyed and none of it will benefit the enemy in the field. Their are some other shuttle that decommissioned from military service for civilian use as civilian transports and as cargo ships but that is usually for outdated models no longer able to compete with todays models against the weaponry of today.

Most purpolsion systems are based off of plasma designs are they are the best at maintain speed for the craft. Many types of their engine can change direction to 270 degrees to maneuver in order to land the craft safely and to take emergency actin as well.
Weapons & Armament
Lighter craft often only carry to energy turrets for protection and heavy craft often carry four to six heavy guns as they are much slower and more susceptible to attack.
Armor and defense
There are two types of dropships light and heavy with some relying on speed with light armor and other strength with thick armor. Light armor a sustain light damage from small fire, but can destroyed in on hit from heavier fire power. Heavy armor can take more of a beating for some time before a breach is made. Some are even equipped with energy shields and every flares to ward off missile fire. Drone are also used for recon on some ships to ensure that it is safe to travel through or to be used to stop projectiles from hitting the ship.
Communication Tools & Systems
All are equiped with a standard two way raidio transmitter to contact other ships and their commanding officers.
Sensors
Navigation systems are used to travel to nessacery loction and radar for aircraft and missiles that spots them and warns them if they target them.
Additional & auxiliary systems
Depending on the model they will have one or more of these systems, emergency power, crash energy pads, cushioning foam, cargo hold escape pods, landing gears, bucket seats, drop pods and self destruct system.
Hangars & docked vessels
Most light craft are only made to be used to transport infantry and some small assault craft and heavy craft can carry both infantry and some larger vehicles to transport into battle.
