Ricardo Dominguez
Ricardo is an Android prisoner stationed on Thyst, serving a life sentence for years of piracy aboard the Maelstrom, where he served as a Gunner. Unlike most Androids, Ricardo seemed incredibly withdrawn, and had little-to-no interest in the ways of other races. Only Balio Sondern seemed to be able to get a smile out of him, and usually only when they were talking about guns.
When the Barathu destroyed the Maelstrom, Ricardo escaped via a pod alongside Balio, but was later captured by the Eoxian government, and then handed over to the Brethedan Bureau of Prisons.

Lightning invited Ricardo to join the Maelstrom around the same time as Mist. Although the Android was seen as unapproachable by many of his peers, Lightning and Ricardo shared a love for advanced weaponry, and the two became close during their travels.
