Personal history

Miguel was once a smuggler for a variety of criminal elements, moving dangerous materials throughout the Pact Worlds inside the custom compartment in his chest. He earned a solid reputation as a no-nonsense contractor, acting as close to a lawful shipping service as possible -- earning him the nickname "The Deliveryman". However, things went poorly for him in 305 AG, when he was apprehended transporting highly-radioactive materials on Bretheda. Unsure of what to do with the material, the Barathu left the waste inside Miguel until a specialist could be called, which was well outside the window he had originally planned, and resulted in tremendous, long-term damage to his nanites and circuits. The aftereffects saw Miguel somewhat deranged, which ended with the Android killing his own lawyer, and a fast track to the Sauna.
On Varos, Miguel served as the Camel of Varos Mining Team 1, using his inhuman strength and heat-resistant material to store various water tanks about his person. He followed Zipper after their escape from the wreckage of the Jasper, and has been with the team ever since.

Mental Trauma

During a normal run of Station Duty on Sauna, Balio and Lockette encountered Miguel in the service tunnels, desperately trying to hold his fracturing face together between bouts of screams. Shi-Shi, who was watching over his ally from the shadows, intervened before the Android could be disturbed, and explained that Miguel had fits every few weeks or so. This condition seems related to the damage Miguel sustained during his early imprisonment (see Personal History for more details).
