Android

The Android is one of the newest additions to the Saints, his worship being fully recognized in 155 AG - one year after androids were given full citizenship in the Pact Worlds. However, his followers will claim he has been around much longer, and was perhaps the original creator of all their kind. His form is the perfection of his work - a creature that is machine, man, and divine.   The Android's primary task is to ensure the safety and liberty of his followers, which he does quietly, slowly, and carefully. It is said his whispers sparked the beginning of the Thyst Rebellion, and inspired the infamous speech The Automaton's Polemic.   It is well known that the Android is allies with Pharasma, likely due to androids' strange ability to pass souls through their bodies. Despite their similarities, the Android does not work directly with Triune, although the two often aid another. Given the rumors of the Android's heritage, it is possible that he bears some relation to Casandalee -- perhaps even her father.

Blessing of the Android

Range: Single Source, Single Target
Action: 24 hours
Duration: Instantaneous   When invoking the Blessing of the Android, the faint sound of clockwork can be heard, and the caster's fingers tingle with electricity. As part of a ritual which requires 24 hours of uninterrupted meditation, this Blessing allows one of two boons.   The caster may become an android in their desired image. All racial traits of their previous form are lost, and instead are replaced with those of the android race. This ability may also be used on a willing creature, although they must also be present throughout the ritual. Once complete, the target will enter a deep sleep that lasts three days, and is considered helpless.   Otherwise, this ability may be used to pass the soul of the caster or a willing target into a body with no soul, such as a fresh corpse or a soulless android. While this change is instantaneous, the target's original body crumbles to dust.
