Geniso have once had a slight trace of nobility but not purity. The family patriarch being a man who believed wholly and entirely in taking what he wanted. Winning over and even kidnapping women for the purpose of making children, soldiers for their armies. This was actually an effective strategy, at least for a while until he was drowned by his first wife but found innocent when every member of the family stood against them.
The Geniso are a craft family, always have been always will be' It is literally their family saying. Few could work wood the way they do.
They are not originally a fighting force, instead of paying people to help them fight but they were lead to metalwork along with their woodwork.
The tools needing tools as the wood design market started producing a limited income. But still, they were earning money. The Matriarch of the clan was ambitious though determined to the something good to her family make something but she'd given way her daughters, it wasn't enough. She has a son, a diamond commodity.
The Son
The trick about houses was that there was very little there for a non-house male to offer, but a housed man was a valuable thing to a family. She had closed the thing too one and one put what sh could into raising her son to bee marvelous, and he was. Talented sportsman archers especially, had the ability to make the bows and arrows himself and he was good at it, he got multiple proposals.
He rejected them all which upset his mother but he had a grand vision and that vision was of the most popular woman South Of Sibini. and it worked, sort of, she was the head of the Ndlovu house in South Sibini. She was the catch of a generation but sadly, things demanded that she have more than one over, which broke his heart. He and the other man were enemies, rivals in business with them having the second-largest wood trade and they also only having one male in the family. It took years but he moved on, reaching out to his first daughter every chance he got. His child responded to it, leaving the Ndlovu home to be a part of the family.
Daughter
She and him bonded, along with the matriarch, but she was different to all the others. she struggled, following the family code, but soon she started picking things up, she traveled north and her knowledge base exploded, the family had a prodigy with Ndlovublood. And in one choice, his dreams were dashed as she chose to become a wizard.
All their dreams dash and to make things worse she disappeared.
New Wife
New plans were needed, someone had to be the new head after him and so the number of wives grew, people of lower stature but of great intelligence. What the old matriarch had to contend with a collection of new, useless wives but it didn't matter their family had their own army of loyal members, which meant little if they devoured the family wealth. but money and land came in the form of sponsored events. Only they were sponsored by the Matriarch or her son, the good news of their "disappointment" came in. Along with schematics for potential metal works, uniquely strong nails, more things came in, more involving wood. They had not lost their prodigy.
