Bastion
The city of Bastion is the only known habitable city on the continent of Baazdos. It sits half obscured under a massive, city spanning arch, walled off from the dangerous frontier by massive stone doors operated by ancient, barely understood magic. From the docks to the Gold Quarter, the whole city has an alien quality. Even the humblest buildings boast 10ft doorways, strange obelisks adorned with runes dot the entire city in seemingly random places, and eroded four-armed statues can be found in still abandoned parts of the warrens. Two gargantuan buildings, likely ancient lighthouses, hundreds of feet high, stand sentry at the far edge of the city, rising from the impenetrable mineral deposits that encircle all known coastline of the continent. Other huge, albeit less awe-inspiring domed buildings are common throughout each district, many with still working plumbing. While each district over the years has become more familiar with the occupants modifications and creature comforts, the city still retains its aloof, not quite tamed air.
