Kelos Merritt

President, head of council, and C.E.O. Of the frontier coalition. Kelos is a male human, with short hair and a graying beard. He’s curt, though not unkind. He’s typically dressed in blue, gold, and red finery, with a gold pauldron on his left shoulder, and the FC clasp at his neck.

Kelos is a career businessman, surviving the war through supplying both sides with blackstone technology. He and the council of Baazdos are responsible for maintaining the frontier’s neutrality through the conflict despite pleas and bribes from both sides to undercut the other.

Kelos succeeded his father as CEO pre war, and was instrumental in the shift from Northern client state to independent operator. Knowing he could cut the source of the technology off at any moment, he was able to leverage Bastion’s exports into a true economy, building Bastion from a backwater mining operation squatting in a ruin into a fully fledged operation.
