Zebula Meravanchi is the patriarch of the powerful noble Meravanchi family of Keymouth, and brother to the merchant Manthalay Meravanchi.
Whispers of the extremes to which the Meravanchis have gone in their notorious parties have always given the taverns of Keymouth something to talk about. The family’s interests are said to run to the decadent and extreme ends of entertainment.
Situated in the Noble District, strange sounds can often be heard coming from behind the low stone walls of the Meravanchi Manor.
Lord Zebula is no different.
Now in his 50s Zebula lives a life of luxury funded by the rare commodities that his trade fleet, lead by his brother Manthalay, bring back from the eastern shores of The Azure Sea.
His wife, Barria, died some years ago, yet Zebula has never remarried despite the many suitors he receives.
Appearance and Mannerisms
Despite his advancing years Zebula is a charming and handsome man who uses his wide smile to great effect. He is always immaculately dressed in the latest fashions, his deep red robes sporting polished silver decorations. The odd scrap of torn, brightly-coloured cloth or leather binding worn as an affectation only add to his charm.Notable Achievements
The Meravanchis built their vast wealth by trading with the native folk of the eastern shores of The Azure Sea, visiting far-off and exotic ports that no other trading company would risk. They have also been the recipients of an unusual amount of luck, causing many other noble families of the Empire to look upon them with jealous respect.
