Olgis Saltwood is the owner of the Saltwood Storehouse in
Ambercove, a large outfitting and provisioning store close to the docks.
She is a sweet, elderly lady who has shown a community minded spirit, helping those who she can, especially those of a poor background.
Olgis has been in
Ambercove for as long as anyone can remember. She cares greatly for the natural world, and is often followed around by a small pack of
Sea Cubs.
Appearance and Mannerisms
Olgis is a short woman of late middle age. She wears the traditional clothing of the folk who live on the fringes of the
Fearwyd Weald, including a strange decorative neckpiece of polished shell discs.
She is always complaining about the cold, even during the summer months, and likes to wear a heavy shawl and wrap comfortable blankets around herself.
Olgis has lank grey hair, into which she ties various herbs and grasses.
Notable Achievements
As well as running a successful provisioning business in
Ambercove, Olgis considers herself a practitioner of the "old arts", and brews medications and concoctions for her clients.
Some locals think she’s a blessing, who can cure any ailment. Others think her malicious, claiming that she has tried to poison them in the past with her remedies!
