It origins is unclear but it had been played since the G.E.N era

History

It is an ancient game going back the G.E.N Era.

Execution

Before the game begins, the game master gives 3 stone tablets by random to each of the participating players, those tablets are to be hidden from the other players and game master. All participating players roll their eight sided dice, whoever has the highest roll will go first, or they may have a chosen player go first instead. The game master will then ask if a player wants to accept or decline a tablet and only one tablet for each player, and after the players decision, the game master will move onto the next player until all players have made a choice. Then all players reveal the number on their stone tablets and whoever has the highest number without going over 16 wins, but a player can also roll their eight sided dice to match odd or even of their hand, and if they win then they will get double of the bet, but if not then they lose double of their bet.   there are however winning hands that can trump highest values such as:   four of a kind   straight flush   and four eights of each suit which is the highest hand to have.

Components and tools

there are 8 stone tablets for four suits: The fowl, Beast, Bug and fish. on these tablets is a number from 1 to 8 and there are eight sided dice from 1-8.   It is not uncommon to see these tablets wrapped in leather or an animal skin and the dice being in a leather pouch. Sometimes the tablets could be made of gold, silver, or copper depending on the wealth of the individual, however Fhedakm use Aetherium tablets for their games.
