The Jhedakarians

The Tribe of Jhedakarians, descendants of Jhedakar himself. they are great farmers and cattle ranchers, they are born with a natural talent to raise and grow crops and livestock unlike no other. they mainly make the food and other animal and vegetation based resources for the empire. mainly found on any continent of Angellonia prime and are usually the first tribe to colonise onto conquered planets.  
(This Jhedakarian is called "Cracked Tusk" for his left tusk is cracked from trying to ride a Lo'tai)

Naming Traditions

Feminine names

Soft Husks, Thorn, Rose, Wool, Feather, Berry Picker are one of the few Jhedakm names given to females.

Masculine names

Tough Husks, Mighty Waters, Corn Cutter and Fruit Picker are some of the Jhedakm names given to males.

Unisex names

Tough hands, Weak Belly, Tough Belly, Beast Lover, Fish Lover, Bug Lover, Fowl Lover.

Family names

One of the famous known family names is the Rpakaro'Gowela'ura family that are well known for making huge Angellonian-Carrots.

Culture

Culture and cultural heritage

during the beginning of every season (around every eight months) the Jhedakm throw a huge feast with crops they had stored from a previous harvest to celebrate the fruitful harvest they had. then after they eat they dance and play music. This tradition began when Gar'huma'ura the fourth son of Jhedakar saw that the Jhedakm worked but never had any time to relax or enjoy some fun.

Shared customary codes and values

They see themselves as the providers of food for the whole entire empire and so they make sure to not mess up their harvests nor have any weak/sick livestock given to anyone in the empire. They value hard hard work and pride themselves in the labor they do for the empire.

Common Etiquette rules

Females are expected to only speak when their husbands or their brothers or father are around if they are around non-familial males. males are expected togive the best of their harvests and flocks when they plan to give a gift to their neighbors.

Common Dress code

Males tend to wear a vest like onesie with a kilt like loincloth that covers their sides and back. females cover themselves with robes made from animal furs.

Art & Architecture

Their artwork involves their tribe pattern being put onto their architecture and their belongings.

Foods & Cuisine

They really enjoy eating steaks from their livestocks and stews and also they really love salads.

Common Customs, traditions and rituals

The Jhedakm always made sure that when the moons turned blue they throw a feast of only meat and milk giving praise to their God and sacrificing their Finest firstborn animal at a stone altar.

Coming of Age Rites

When a Male reaches his 16th birthday they are expected to grow a great crop wether that looks like a large quantity or a high quality crop, and is traditionally expected to grow a difficult crop in harsh conditions as well. then they take it to their patriarch and if their patriarch accepts the work that they had done then they are recognized as an officail adult. if they failed then they will have the opportunity of trying again immediatly afterwards and wait till their crops grows again.

Funerary and Memorial customs

they crmate their dead and put them in urns in the shape of their faovrite animal or an anmial they were known to keep.

Common Taboos

They view harming animals as wrong and see the only excuse for killing an animal is for food or self defense or end their suffering and not for sport.

Ideals

Beauty Ideals

Males with short hair and beard tendrils are seen as handsome and not too large tusks are also seen as desirable.

Courtship Ideals

If a male were to marry a female they would have to impress the patriarch of her family by growing a fine crop or livestock and then make a dinner from that harvest or livestock for her family and if the patriarch of that family is impressed then they would give them his blessing. and it is expected that they would get to know eachother for a season and can only be near each other with her brothers around or her father around. and by the end of the season the male will offer her a cup and if she accepts the drink then they are officially considered as promised to be married. And then the patriarchs of both families will have to then exchange gifts and in very rare occassions combined properties and resources with both families, and the matriarchs alongside with their daughters will have to begin preparing the ceremonies. once all of that is complete both families and their guests will sit around the married couple at the male's family property and an Angellonian priest will recite their vows and offer a wedding sacrifice for them and he will officially wed them as husband and wife.

Relationship Ideals

They are monogamous heterosexuals.   but platonically males do not make friends with females and only make friends with those from their same settlements.
