The Larrasu Order

The Larrasu Order, translating to Sentinel Order in the common tongue, is an ancient order unified in it's beliefs and observance of the Wellspring of Life. The Larrasu are guardians of peace and justice in the Ancestor Isles and became perhaps the most well known group that relied on spirit magicks. Led by a council of High Lords, the Larrasu have survived over the last millennia or longer.

Organization

Originally consisting of only catfolk, the Larrasu have since accepted members of all races into their ranks, as long as they proved themselves willing and worthy. The ranks of the Larrasu, in the present day, usually contains around 2000 to 3000 members at one time, not counting hopefuls, depending on various factors. Ranks: Lowest to highest

Hopeful: A person who serves the Larrasu order, helping in day to day tasks and missions with the hopes of one day officially joining the order.
Squire: Usually, but not always, a Hopeful whom was accepted in as a student by a Knight or Lord.
Knight: Full members of the Larrasu and bulk of the members, Knights are the warriors and guardians of the order.
Lord: The most skilled and highly respected of the Larrasu. Lords are the ones who lead task forces and carry out the tougher missions.
High Lord: A rank held by only 10 Larrasu at a time, High Lords form the Larrasu council. In times of great need, High Lords may be seen carrying out missions or leading a larger strike force.
Grand Lord: The highest rank, held only by 1 Larrasu at a time. The Grand Lord is the leader of the council and is considered the wisest and most powerful of the Larrasu.

Specialized Taskforces: Most Larrasu don't serve on a specialized taskforce. Knights and Lords usually operate solo (sometimes with a squire) or in pairs (with another Knight or Lord). Depending on the needs of a taskforce, Larrasu may aid them with their tasks without officially joining the taskforce.

Impromtu Strike Force: When the need arises, temporary strike forces may be formed. This usually happens when a single or duo of Larrasu are unable to handle a threat alone, among other tasks.
Rangers: The scouts and explorers of the Larrasu, Rangers are most known for their reconnaissance skills and guerilla tactics. Their primary purpose is keeping the borders of the three main kingdoms secure, scouting out threats, expedition guides and other special assignments.
Strategic Aid Taskforce: The SAT serves the purpose of providing aid to those in need. Whether acting as a mediator in a smaller dispute or providing medical aid and supplies to refugees and underdeveloped villages, the SAT were the ones spending the most time among the citizens of the Ancestor Isles. Hopefuls tend to be assigned to assist this taskforce the most.
