Gwylawyr Tribe
Overview
The Gwylawyr Tribe find their few villages perched high in the peaks of The Stormswept Foothills overlooking the land below. They are to many, the eyes that watch over the land, each village having a vast signal fire to light when an enemy army is spotted. Despite being a smaller tribe themselves, this important role gives them a seat at the Council of Twelve Tribes. They often send out their eagle-eyed scouts to other tribes to assist them with scouting as well.Territories
The Gwylawyr Tribe is small but the influence they have is vast. They build their villages only on the highest peaks overlooking The Stormswept Foothills. Their villages rather large and venerating the winds and looking to the skies but also to the horizon to keep watch to invaders. They act, in many ways, the early warning for the Baegir. Their villages while lacking many of the conventional defenses of other tribes are instead protected by merely how much one might have to go out of their way to arrive in one. Even so, traders still trudge their way to their villages for rare materials found near the peaks and to sometimes trade for tamed birds of prey.
Military
The Gwylawyr Tribe lacks for warriors, they are hardly a violent sort and prefer to avoid it at all costs. However, what few fighters they do have are bonded to hawks and ferocious in battle, fighting to the death to defend their people. Perhaps most unique is their disposition towards falconry to hunt small game, but also to harry enemies of the tribe and slow them down while they prepare defenses at chokepoints. However, more often than not, other tribes will quickly rush to the defense of the Skywatchers Tribe due to their importance.
